used for a month or so, Paired with the solar panel, playback is slow to load but good quality on the high setting (guessing this might be better with cloud storage?). Motion capture to start recording is fairly hit and miss, probably only starts recording 50% of the time when a car pulls into the driveway and the amount of false positive recordings is massive - had to turn the phone notifications off. This maybe an issue with the camera being too high? Good night vision and the LED spotlight is fairly bright too.overall the camera is somewhat useful and fairly decent value for money. Hardware: 5 stars - Software 2.5 stars. Hope there is a update to firmware?

This camera was recommended to me by a family member. I got 2! Very easy to set up. Clear images at night, I get a notification as soon as there is activity. Works by detecting a moving object (car or person) as well as a change in pixels on the screen so double accuracy. I can talk, turn on an alarm, turn on a powerful spotlight. All from my phone! It hardly uses any battery power. I've had it in use for two weeks and haven't had to charge it. I have a 64gb micro SD card and the videos overwrite when it's full. Which will be ages away.

This is by far the best cellular camera available. I’ve tried the Arlo and several brands of trail cameras and this one exceeds all of them. Reception is excellent even in areas where phones will not work. Solar charging is great. The Pan and Tilt make this camera so awesome. Motion detection is excellent. The app is easy yo use. The time lapse feature is fun and useful. Both color and infrared night vision work good. Cloud storage option is well worth the subscription. Video capture on motion makes it invaluable for wildlife detection. I recommend an after market cellular omnidirectional antenna for very poor reception areas. If you have trouble firing it up with a nano SIM card don’t give up. It’s a process of learning how to install an apn file in the nano SD card but once you figure it out it puts the competition to shame. We have tried nearly every cell provider and settled on Mint Mobile. Our area works best on a GSM cell protocol. GSM is the protocol that AT&T and T-Mobile use but all unlocked providers also use the GSM protocol. Verizon is the only odd ball cell protocol out there. Don’t expect to just stick in a nano SIM and fire it up. You will have to install an apn file into the nano SD before firing up the camera. Support can help online but just look up how to put an apn file in the SD card and your up and running. The area that we are running these cameras in is such bad reception that you are completely dead on your phone. By the way the aftermarket antenna height makes absolutely no difference during testing with all antennas. I hope one day Reolink will add a motion detection sensor that when it detects motion it will auto pan and tilt the camera to track it. Keep up the great work Reolink. Your an idiot if you go buy a cellular trail camera after reading this review.

Excellent Wireless CCTV

I generally do lots of research before buying any stuffs. After careful evaluations, I purchased one of it to begin. It was highly convenient to set up within minutes. Quite wide view and two way communications, 4 MP image, multiple placement accessories provided, battery life is good and over a month with continuous PIR active, I there by has added three more during last long weekend. Price certainly has gone up considering first one bought at 159 and rest three at 249 (Both times during sale period), I am very happy with the performance, design, output, easy set up. Price is highly competitive comparing similar performing CCTV.

Solar panel craps out after a year.

Camera worked great for 15 months then the solar panel stopped being able to keep it charged. Since it is in a remote location this makes it useless until I can drive 300 miles, get out the ladder, get up on the roof and charge the battery. Then a few weeks later repeat.
