Upon opening found aluminium shaving inside small tube. Flushed out with WD-40. Then start using pump for diff oil. Try pumping some onto cloth to check and make sure all shaving has been flushed. Long be hold, more shaving comes out. This time coming from pump. Tried another flush with clean engine oil, but the shavings just kept coming. Seriously, I am not putting oil in my diff with this pump. It is obvious the manuafacturer had taken short cuts and not cleaning shavings off before assembly. This pump should be pulled from shelves. Imagine how many cars are running out there with aluminium shavings in the oil ????

Used this pump to make it easier to replace my diff oil and work alright for the first dozen pumps and then stripped the internal screw pipe used to siphon. It may work better on lower viscosity oils but not really impressed with the outcome I got.

This pump was useless it’d be lucky to pump water let alone transmission oil been meaning to return it but haven’t had time don’t buy it’s rubbish

Broke multiple times the first use. Struggled through the job.Months later I required the pump bottle again and it again failed. Threw it in the bin - please don’t buy this.
Very low quality product with poor design. Broke on second use. Took apart in attempt to fix but the weak nature of the internals meant that it continued to fail at the point where the central cylinder threads into the plastic pump apparatus.
It worked great for the first two litters, but then was very hard to use and not able to push the pump down.
Repco should discontinue this pump as it’s poor quality, I’ve used outher brand with no issues, rude staff member told me they have never had issues with them and was making it had to get my refund.
Two have broken in a row trying to refill my gearbox and rear diff. Pumps about 2L then stops working. Waste of money and time
Barely functions, might be alright for pumping ATF but not strong enough for 80-90, blew apart third pump and continually after that. Managed to get it to work and moved about 100ml in ten minutes, it's a joke.
Thread on the piston gave out 10 minutes into the job. Gear oil everywhere.Get yourself an electric pump from jaycar, easier and actually works
