Repco Torque Wrench 1/2in Dr - 200Nm You might be wondering why such a specific torque setting is required when working on your car, but it is really something you shouldn't overlook. Certain driveline components including something as simple as your wheels have recommended torque settings to ensure they remain tight throughout heat cycles, road vibration and other kinds of abuse so you stay safe and intact on the roads. Other instances where torque wrenches are required is when assembling vital engine components such as con-rod bolts, head bolts, water pumps and so forth. Torque settings are required here to ensure that no damage is done to components or the engine block by overtightening and stretching threads or leaving things too loose and causing catastrophic engine failure in the future. Check your manufacturer specifications for exact torque figures when using this tool as all engines and drivelines vary greatly. Keep an eye out for TTY or 'torque to yield' settings too, this requires you to tighten to a specified setting and then add a quarter or half turn for example. Ditch the rattle gun and opt for a more calculated, satisfying approach with our full range of hand tools in-store or online with Repco today. So, you're finally kitted out with all your Repco sockets, screwdrivers and ratchets but the garage shelf is starting to overflow and the 10mm socket is getting harder and harder to track down each time you need it. Whether you're needing somewhere to store the tools you use to work on your project car or upgrading your professional workspace and tool storage solution, Repco has a range for you. Available in either blue or black, each Repco tool box is constructed from heavy gauge sheet steel and finished in a durable powder coating finish which is resistant to scratching, perfect for tough working environments such as garages, workshops and other worksites. Repco tool boxes have quality, smooth operating drawers with heavy duty ball bearing drawer slides and non-slip drawer liners, providing the perfect space to organise your tools properly so you know where everything is when you need it the most. They also feature high security tubular locking systems to keep your tools safe from pesky thieves. The Repco tool chest range is designed to sit neatly on top of our trolleys and are constructed with 4 steel side handles, perfect for carrying them around and even tying down in the back of the ute. Whether equipping your home garage to get stuck into servicing your daily driver or even kitting out a fully-fledged professional mechanic / workshop business, Repco tools are the best of the best. Our tools have been produced to such a high standard and are tested so rigorously on all our own project cars. The vast range of Repco tools have been carefully curated to cover the most widely used tools in the professional trade and have also been manufactured to meet strict ANSI and DIN manufacturing standards.

Needed a mid size torque wrench mainly for wheel nuts 90-100Nm. Looked at the cheaper Toledo micrometer style, but found that it is prioritised to ft/lbs and you need to be
a mathematician to adjust to Mm, beware. This Repco dial type is listed as made by Norbar, one of the top names in torque wrenches, and in fact the Repco unit is branded
Norbar, I was surprised.OK, this is a beaut torque wrench, all the good features, easy setting for both Mm and ft/lbs, reversible for LH thread wheel nuts, and ratcheting which
makes the task even easier.Have used it now, and can't fault this torque wrench. Definitely worth the extra cost if you appreciate good tools.
