I was anxious to try this N30, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my hopes for a better night sleep .I’m used to the headset where the hose is on top of the head and the nasal cushion is supported by the side air chambers.With the n30 , the hose is out front just like a elephants trunk . And any night time movement causes the hose to be entangled.Nice thing is the pressure is direct to the nose and not ever pinched. But because of the constant tugging on the hose from restless sleep this unit isn’t for me. Worst part . No return after opening so there’s another $100 product laying in the nightstand

I love how simple and easy this mask is. And it is very comfortable, however I can't use it. The movement of the mask and something about its form results in me swallowing a ton of air, and then belching and passing gas throughout the night and the next morning. Very unfortunate. The swallowing of air also distends my stomach and makes me feel full and uncomfortable/nauseous. I am 36 years old, female, and 140 lbs. I am a new user as well. Hoping they figure out making this mask more useful in the future, but until then, I am trying other masks.

To make clear I’m new to cpap. I don’t get a good night sleep with this mask. Why? You can’t sleep on stomach, the airway flow through the nose makes me feel like I have a stuffy nose and at times have hard time breathing through it, my nostrils get irritated and itchy through the night with a wet feeling, feel like I never get comfortable fit into nose and constantly through night adjusting the nose piece. The tub is constantly in my way if I try to side sleep, I think if you never move and sleep the whole night on your back this would work for you. It’s not for those who move side to side. I don’t know why people are writing such good reviews. Not sure I could do this rest of my life. I may need to go with a dental mouthpiece for sleep apnea.

I really liked the fact that there were so few straps all over my head and face! Much more comfortable for this light sleeper! The nasal cushion is too small and oddly positioned. Would prefer the more triangular shaped one that goes more up and over the top of the nose, maybe better stabiity? The weight of the hose where it attaches to the nasal cushion pulls the cushion down because of it’s weight, therefore pulling the cushion open at the top, releasing air. Back to the drawing board for me!
I really wanted to like this mask. I use an N30i when I’m home and thought this would be suitably close for use with my Air Mini while traveling. I was wrong. Seems the only way that you can prevent it leaking is to hold the hose down to your chest. If for some reason you move a micron in your sleep, it’s leaking again.I ended up replacing it with a N20 and other than the extra head gear to hold it in place, it is leak free and comfortable enough.Beware that then pressure relive connector is noisy on all the Air Mini masks.
I recently switched from the full nasal mask to the P10 nasal cushions and really liked the change after many years of the bulkier headset. I saw a discount ad for the N30 which I thought was more or less the same as the P10 so I bought it. I was surprised that it was different, but I gave it a try rather than return. I'd say i like it as much as the P10, maybe a little more. While the P10 has cushions that insert into the nostrils, the N30 just cups them both from underneath. With the right strap adjustment, both are equally secure. The N30 seals well and is easy to readjust during the night as i turn over and move around. At some point I'll probably pick my favorite and just stock one type of replacement cushions.
This is my 2nd AirFit N30 CPAP mask that I’ve purchased and used. I wore the first one for about 2 years until the adjustable headgear became too stretched out to get a tight fit. The frame, hose extension and cushion are still in good shape and I’ll continue to use them, alternating between cleanings every week. I really like how light weight this mask is and how low impact it is on my sleep. I’m a side sleeper and this mask comfortable whether I sleep on my back or my side. And for me the mask fits tight enough so there are no leaks yet not so tight that it leaves marks on my face or is uncomfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone who prefers a mask that is light, comfortable and unobtrusive.
I give it 2 stars because most of my cpap masks come with a full size kit —this one I bought only came with 1 nasal cushion. Since this was a new mask for me, I had no idea what size to pick & unfortunately…. I chose the wrong size. Go figure. Some kind of helpful size chart before buying would be useful if you guys aren’t going to include all 3 size cushions for this already EXPENSIVE price! Nuts. And there’s no easy way to return for freee or just exchange the cushion size only (which is what I’d like to do) but I just bought the correct size from Amazon 🤦🏻‍♀️. Pricey too just for the cushion —about $30-$35. Rip-off too for just 1 cushion
This mask is very comfortable - the soft nasal pillow does not irritate my noise and the straps are good. Unfortunately, perhaps due to the nasal pillow, it is not as quiet as I would like - or as my spouse would like. My sleep was frequently interrupted by a sharp jab to my ribs and a lilting voice saying "You're leaking again!" I contatacted Direct Home Medical and they are going to take it back and refund my money. Great customer support! Thanks!!Going back to the P10.
I have used a full face mask for over 10 years. Recently I started chaffing on the bridge of my nose, so I wanted to try something smaller with good air flow. I did not want something plugged into my nostrils, so I ordered this after reading the reviews. I changed my CPAP from full face mask to nasal mask.My first night, my sleep scores were very good. The noise was a little more than I was used to, so the second night I used foam earplugs and heard nothing all night. Sleep score 100. Less than 1 event per hour. I am sold on this mask.
