ResMed AirFit P10 AirMini Mask Pack
Video Library: Maintenance and inspection Regular inspection of your mask and its components for signs of damage is important to maintain optimal performance of your mask. For a thorough inspection, you should first disassemble the mask as per instructions in your user guide and inspect each part individually. Check the mask frame and tube Examine both the inside and outside of the mask tube for any holes or tears. If damage is found, the frame will need to be replaced. Hold the frame and gently pull on each arm of your mask to ensure they are firmly attached and will provide good support. Checking the nasal pillows Examine your nasal pillows inside and out for general wear and tear, blockages, damage and deformed pillows. A light squeeze on the sides of deformed pillows can help bring them back to shape. Replace them if they are damaged or no longer fit well. Checking the headgear Hold the headgear in one hand and run your other hand along its length while stretching at various points to check for tears and its elasticity. If the headgear is torn, lost its elasticity or has damaged seams, you should replace it.

This Setup Pack is an economical way to purchase replacement parts for my AirMini. I didn't need everything in the kit at this time, but will eventually. I really only only needed the headgear--which was worn & stretched. The kits includes the newer version headgear, with built in adjustment. It's nice to have new pillows though, and the hose will need to be replaced at some point. I don't use the HumidX device, but I will take them with me when traveling to a very dry climate next month. Purchasing the kit now seemed less expensive than purchasing a single part on an emergency basis.

Most comfortable mask so far. Started with F20 then Hybrid F30i but P10 most comfortable and best results. Always thought I would mouth breath if using a nasal mask but surprisingly no mouth breathing . My wife agrees it is the quietest so far..P10 now on air mini & airsense10

As a new CPAP user, I was worried how long it would take me to get used to this apparatus attached to my face, and as a person who lives on a sailboat, I was concerned about using this hi-tech gadget without water and wondered how much power it would drain from my battery banks overnight. My doctor thought the ResMed AirMini was the perfect solution. It’s been a few weeks and it has improved my sleep so much! Every morning I’m excited to see my score on my phone app. I feel like I’m winning! Thanks for turning this downer of aging into a really positive experience, Lofta!

I only needed the set up kit for the mask I ordered, but didn't receive. I received an e-mail saying that my prescription was too old. When I called the first time, she told me that she couldn't see my order # and that she couldn't see my 2 month old prescription because it "was within the order" form my resmed mini a couple of months ago. So I resent the prescription. Next time I called, an perdon found the prescription I e-mailed and that it was good to send me the mini nasal mask, but it was too late as I was traveling for a couple of months in two days time.
These masks work well. Especially when new. But I can’t help but feel that they are intentionally designed to wear prematurely. The last two I had, have had the headbands completely break within two or three months of wear, leaving me to jury-rig them back together. For what they cost, I expect them to last longer than what they do.
I’ve been in OSA/ CPAP therapy for about 3 months and the predictable issues with full face mask started to bother me ie smashed face , sore on the bridge of my nose requiring a band aid application to prevent abrasion, mask leak with sleeping position changesI have a full goatee and I understand why face masks leak despite trying Airsoft foam productThe P10 nasal pillows are a welcome change, when I’m not stuffy - Great seal , AHA events less than 10 -When I’m stuff the pillows make me feel “breath starved” so I switch back to Full Face and it worksI think variety is the spice of CPAP life
I am using tge headgear for the first time since I purchased the AirMini. The nasal pillows fit differently than the ones that go with the regular cpap. Fortunately, tgey send 3 sizes so you can determine which is most comfortable and has an adequate seal. One thing I do not like that can be improved upon is the head strap. I am a female with a normal sized head and the strap is extended fully. I don't know how men or large headed people could wear this. It fits too tightly fir comfort and my nose tends to be sore by morning regardless of basal pillow size. Also, it takes some getting used to having a hose in front of ones face vs on top of ones head. Otherwise, I like the HME feature.
The portable CPAP performed better than expected during a 9-day cruise onboard the NCL Viva and 2 nights in different Hotels, one in Trieste, the other in Lisbon. Having a good night sleep was essential while traveling abroad and the Airmini performed excellent. I practiced using it for a few weeks before traveling for real through airports. The slight fan noise was so low it wasn't a factor in falling asleep. A Samsung Watch 5 Pro was used to monitor sleep quality while using the Resmed AirMini. This CPAP has become essential when traveling and future camping. The Lisbon airport screeners had me take it out the carrying case, piece by piece, and it went through, with no issues. It doesn't need distilled water to be analyzed.
One must wonder if ResMed engineers ever use their own products. The air noise of the P10 designed for the AirMini is louder than all get out. The regular P10 is silent. Further, why oh why is there not a swiveling joint at the Pillow section? Are all sleepers required to remain stationary during the night? The hose, not matter how the sleeper is positioned will ALWAYS make contact with the sleeper's face (unless they are suspended in the air facing the floor and even then there will be problems). Not happy at all with this purchase.
Have full beard and large mustache and this works great and is very comfortable. Also it seems to have trained me not to mouth breathe (too much) annnnnd it stays in place as i change sleeping positions throughout the night, from back to right side to left side to back and repeat over and over. And since same works for airmini travel machine and home machine (airsense 11), it is easy and comfortable to switch from one to other. Traveling feels like home!. I own and use the two machines possibly only bc the nasal pillow mask works so well for me.
