CPAP masks are WAY over priced so that is the only reason for three stars. They all get three stars. However to the mask: The F20 is the best mask on the market as it will fit every single face and head shape. Some people like me who are lacking the backward sloping neanderthal head shape cannot wear masks that brace of the forehead. Besides.. these things are claustrophobic. The F20 silicone fits beautifully.. no leak even at very high pressure and the new diffuser valves on them are dead silent. So if you say.. have a Fisher and Paykel Sleepstyle machine with one of these masks.. a person could sleep beside you and be oblivious to the fact you are using CPAP at all. They are also very comfortable. The only advice I would give is to size SMALLER than what you need. ... MoreCPAP masks are WAY over priced so that is the only reason for three stars. Medium is a great size and I am not a small man standing at over 6 foot tall, and weighing 140kg. I have not tried this with a beard but I do intend to grow one in the next few weeks. The neck strap.. however.. and this is common to all mask straps (head gear) digs into the base of the neck. 4 strips of craft foam, cut to 3c x 10cm, layered on top of each other and wrapped in clear wrap, is ideal to insert between the strap and the base of the neck. NEVER over tighten your mask. Pull it off your face for a moment to allow the cushion to expand esp over the nose. Then... get a good night sleep. As for lasting.. I get 6 months out of the head gear and about 18 - 24 months out of the cushions. I currently have three as I do buy a new mask every 10 months or so as they do lose their stiffness over time.

I bought this mask to use with the Resmed Air Mini CPAP machine on transatlantic flights. This mask is listed as the only full face mask that is compatible with the Air Mini, and the HumidX system. At almost $1k, I considered the Air Mini to be pricey already, but having to buy this separate mask added even more to the cost. You can imagine my frustration at discovering that I need an ADDITIONAL product to use this mask with the Air Mini! Yes, I have to buy the AirMini F20 setup pack for an additional $42, on top of the expensive machine and mask. The first picture shows the type of coupler that SHOULD come on a mask listed as compatible with the AirMini/HumidX system. I have tried a lot of different masks over the years, and after discovering the AirTouch F20 For Her Full Face CPAP Mask, I have found the perfect mask. This mask is soooo comfortable, and it doesn't irritate my skin or leave marks like all of the other masks (I think I've tried every mask out there). I don't need any type of covering for it to keep it from irritating my face because it has a soft, plush, memory foam where it touches your face. You don't need to tighten the straps real tight to keep air from leaking. It's just amazing. And the speedy delivery and price were my reasons for choosing Direct Home Medical (plus I didn't need the hassle of a prescription). If you're wondering what type mask you should get, I HIGHLY recommend the AirTouch F20.

Initially, the memory foam seemed like a godsend and thought my search for the right mask was finally over. Unfortunately, the material quickly proved to be unsuitable for the intended use. When I first put the mask on the feel was amazing, comfortable, good seal close to perfect. By the middle of the second week, however, the material started to compress and lose its shape. Before the end of the second week, I realized cleaning effectively would be close to impossible, the material adsorbs saliva and moisture from cleaning wipes causing it to become deformed further. Also, wipes don't get it clean enough, and washing soap and water caused the memory foam to separate from the silicone seal. Also, wipes don't get it clean enough, and washing soap and water caused the memory foam to separate from the silicone seal. The first one was in the trash well before the third week and with a great deal more care I almost made it three weeks with the second mask but even then the memory foam was so distorted that I had to crank down the headgear straps to get any sort of seal causing the mask edges to dig into the bridge of my nose and under my eyebrow, to the point, I was waking up with puffed and swollen eyes. My insurance company will only pay for one replacement a month and at these prices, I can't afford to be replacing masks out of pocket every two weeks ... with is about the longest I was able to get practical use out of them. The search continues.
Love the mask I’ve tried probably 90% of all mask made I like the fact it has memory foam and it will leave less mask marks on your face but I found that the memory foam discolored and will dry and harden especially if you use air cleaner like so clean etc have to wash the mask by hand daily to save the life of the mask. Personally I think it’s too much money to replace mask once or twice a month for the price you and I pay. Unless you have insurance that pays it. I find the Airfit one is little better and last little longer and it doesn’t break down like this AirTouch does. I love the automatic mask cleaner save time and money. I find that I don’t have as much of air leaks with these mask. Other models I find that I still stop breathing and doesn’t help and lot ... MoreLove the mask I’ve tried probably 90% of all mask made I like the fact it has memory foam and it will leave less mask marks on your face but I found that the memory foam discolored and will dry and harden especially if you use air cleaner like so clean etc have to wash the mask by hand daily to save the life of the mask. Other than what I mentioned I hope this review helps anyone and the new cpap user don’t want people waste money when they don’t have to especially the ones who are like me pays out of pocket on the supplies and machine itself. If you wonder What machine I am using is ResMed Airsense 10.
I went through nasal mask after nasal mask desperately trying to make them work. My nose is a mess and no matter how many meds I take it will never completely clear and the noise and pressure of the nasal mask was a mess for me. I couldn’t fall asleep and the rare times I did I woke up with air billowing out of my mouth. I hated the chin strap bc it felt like I was suffocating trying to breathe through my nose with my mouth strapped closed. I have a beard and everyone told me a full face would not work including my doctors. I went on a recommendation by someone on Reddit for this with the memory foam pad and IT WORKS. It’s comfortable, it leaves some marks but they go away within 30 mins of waking up. It’s easy to wear, it’s super quiet. It’s comfortable, it leaves some marks but they go away within 30 mins of waking up. It’s easy to wear, it’s super quiet. I was about to give up on CPAP after spending hundreds trying different nasal setups and this, this is it. It’s just a shame the mask is so damn expensive. I’be been taking really good care of it hoping to get more than 30 days of use just because $720 a year on masks is crazy. But man has this saved my entire attitude about the CPAP. Make sure you print the size chart and size appropriately first because it would be an expensive mistake to find out it’s too small or large.
At first the mask seemed larger than the one I had been using, but it was higher and narrower up the bridge of the nose so it extended down the same length. Plus it seemed to have a better fit than the one I had previously used and was accustomed to. So this was a big plus as I wouldn't have to twist myself each night into a position that I could comfortably use my hand to keep my mask attached to my face. Also the new headgear holds the new mask securely and comfortably to my face. My previous headgear was stretched out of shape and sorely in need of replacement. This new headgear attaches with magnets instead of clips and I was concerned at first that they would not hold, but it has remained securely attached whether I lay on my back or on my side. No holes in the mask so it makes a horrendous whistling sound. Of course it doesn't help when they sell you a machine that can't hold your air pressure. The whole set up from the mask to the machine was the worst purchase that I have ever made. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT BACK IT'S EQUIPMENT! I have spent over $500 out of pocket and have had my equipment checked. They say it's not their equipment but Hey, ask your doctor to write you a "new" prescription for less pressure on your machine. Really? I will now have to sell my "new" machine and supplies because they will not refund or even credit me because of "policy" This company is a scam and will take your money. My only hope is the dispute I have opened with my CC company.
Even though they're more expensive / industry standard really for their CPAP supplies, I know I can trust that their product WILL arrive to me, whereas purchasing through Amazon you cannot guarantee inventory will be there in my experience. I tend to mouth-breathe so full face mask is a requirement. This is the only one I can stand wearing. My face is awkwardly "in between" sizes, but I can make the Small work. Medium is uncomfortable to me as it is "in" my eyes it feels like LOL.PROS- Arrives in fully sealed "sterile" packaging- Memory foam doesnt require as much "tightness" to get a good seal which means less chance for 'red marks' if that matters to you- SO much more comfortable - pure silicone masks really irritate my skin and struggle to get a good seal - ... MoreEven though they're more expensive / industry standard really for their CPAP supplies, I know I can trust that their product WILL arrive to me, whereas purchasing through Amazon you cannot guarantee inventory will be there in my experience. This mask is an absolute game-changer for anyone who needs a full face mask for their CPAP therapy. One of the things I love about this mask is how comfortable it is. The memory foam cushion is super soft and molds to your face to create a perfect seal. Plus, it's super easy to clean - just rinse it off and you're good to go!Another thing that sets the AirTouch F20 apart is the magnetic headgear clips. They make adjusting and removing the mask a breeze, and they're a nice change from those annoying plastic clips.Overall, I would definitely recommend the ResMed AirTouch F20 Full Face CPAP Mask to anyone looking for a comfortable and easy-to-use mask. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
