Airfit works better than Airtouch. The foam rubber gives a better fit and is more comfortable. But the foam rubber tears within a few weeks. So better fit but does not last long. Not so good fit Airtouch will last a longer time. As an engineer I feel they should be able to design a foam rubber insert so you only have to replace that but of course they would make less money. If your insurance is paying for it you may not care but if not it is crazy. All of this stuff is so overpriced. No wonder insurance is so costly. We are subsidizing huge profits for medical equipment manufacturers.

I recently bought replacement masks for my daughter's machine based on the specifications of the machine. They didn't fit. I wrote a one star review out of frustration. A man named Max contacted me and we talked about her machine and it turned out I ended up having to also purchase the head piece for those masks. He gave me a nice discount for my trouble. She was able to hook everything up to her machine and has told me that Lofta's masks were actually a lot BETTER than the original that came with her machine. Better fit, better comfort. THANK YOU, Max from Lofta for solving the problem.

Love the mask I‚Äôve tried probably 90% of all mask made I like the fact it has memory foam and it will leave less mask marks on your face but I found that the memory foam discolored and will dry and harden especially if you use air cleaner like so clean etc have to wash the mask by hand daily to save the life of the mask. Personally I think it‚Äôs too much money to replace mask once or twice a month for the price you and I pay. Unless you have insurance that pays it. I've had the same machine for over 12 years. My original machine was a champ and worked great the whole time. I didn't realize how much quieter the new machines are as compared to the older ones.The AirSense 11 is super user-friendly and I love checking my score every day on my phone! I purchased the heated hose and humidifier block off since I haven't used a humidifier in many years. When I first used it as a test I wasn't sure it was even on since the ramp up of the pressure was so light and I couldn't even hear the unit.My AHI is .67 on average from the first 9 nights. When I did my test 12+ years ago, my AHI was 77.

My nose is a mess and no matter how many meds I take it will never completely clear and the noise and pressure of the nasal mask was a mess for me. I couldn‚Äôt fall asleep and the rare times I did I woke up with air billowing out of my mouth. I started with the Resmed F30i Full Face Mask. It does not cover mouth AND nose, but fits under nose. I had difficulty with air escaping no matter how many adjustments I made. I consulted my RT and decided a full coverage mask might work better, so I bought this F20 w/ memory foam. My sleep numbers improved a LOT, and it is generally comfortable once I am asleep; however there are 2 points to mention. One, it is still too large for my face. I am borderline SM/XS. This mask covers from mid-chin to my eyes. I am not able to read or watch TV as it comes up too high and it also puts some pressure on my sinuses. I grudgingly tried the AirSense 11 and immediately fell in love with it. It was much more quiet, much better for breathing with EPR, less leaks, more user control on the machine, better mobile app, and the ResMed mask selection was far superior. The only area that ResMed was inferior was the humidifier chamber. Most important to me was the EPR settings which adjust pressure on exhale vs inhale. I'm finally entering REM state and experiencing dreams again!
As technology evolves most things get smaller and lighter . This 11 isn’t that much smaller than my ResMed S9. The new water chamber, your lucky if you get one night out of it if you like humidification and not wearing a mask that has the humid x system . Also the brown hose that comes with it is heavy and more rigid than the white clear hoses of past and in the mask adapters . When you are sleeping you feel the weight of the hose pulling on your face. That’s not comfortable. Just don’t understand who gave the green light on that decision . One thing I will say is it’s quiet . Not so much that it outweighs the others cons . Not thrilled with this . I might just go back to my ResMed S9 and use this as back up .
The ResMed AirTouch F20 Full Face CPAP Mask is the first full face mask I've used. My previous versions were the P10 nasal pillows which began to irritate the tip of my nose. I was happy to find that the F20 was comfortable to wear and the coverage over my nose and mouth were perfect. I did have to adjust/tighten the velco straps to get the perfect seal, but that was to be expected. I also purchased the Setup Pack for my ResMed Mini and it too performed wonderfully. It's a little adjustment from going to the nasal pillows to the full face, but IMO, this new mask has been more comfortable and will lead me to using my CPAP machine more often.
