These numeric assessments are meaningless. I am a former cardiac surgeon and now suffer right heart failure with poor circulation and oedema in the ankles requiring diuretics and anticoagulants. I also have spinal stenosis which affects my skin circulation as my parasympathetic nervous system is involved and have poor cutaneous circulation. I can't walk more than ten yards which means my venous return is compromised. I also have Type II diabetes but fortunately have normal pulses in the legs. I've had cheaper versions of this before and not really got alot out of them. The size, weight and versatility of the Revitive Pro Relife are far better. It's not chunky and store away much more easily. The only reason it's a 4 star and not a 5 is that I wish I'd sprung for the extra and gone the next modle up which is wireless. But other than that, I get the results I want and am happy with the product. Definately glad I didn't go for a cheaper version.

We have purchased 2 of these Circulation Boosters, for brother and son. Our son who never expresses much joy over anything could not stop thanking us for this machine. Bother has nerve problems in legs and uses his on a regular basis. Brother did have an issue with it stop working, but when I called the customer support, she talked us through a procedure which keeps the unit working. It was a matter of foot cream and patience in turning up the intensity. Having tested this machine my husband and I are buying ourselves one.

Problem I have with this device is it starts out with a very light shock and gradually gets stronger. Unfortunately for me with having severe neuropathy I can’t feel the shocking stimulation till the very end of the programming. If there was a way to have it start at full power I’d be a lot happier with it. But to have my feet on it half hour 45 minutes and not feel anything happening frustrating so I haven’t used it very much. That last 15 minutes of the programming where it’s getting you a descent shock where your legs muscles contract is what I wish it do the whole time it’s turned on! Or at least be adjustable where the user can set the power where they want or need it to be!
I have severe and painful arthritis in my ankle which has caused muscle wastage in my calf due to restricted movement. I also have swelling in both feet and ankles and I have been suffering from painful cramp in my legs and toes almost every night. I use the machine only, I choose not to use the pads. I feel the sensation much stronger in one leg than in the other.I noticed a difference after only a few days of use. I have been using it twice a day for 2 months and have had cramp only once during that time.I have also noticed a reduction in pain in my ankle when walking. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have any effect on the swelling which I was expecting it to, but I'm am still hopeful that in time there might be some improvement. The machine is easy to use and convenient for me as I use it while watching tv. The sensation felt is very soothing and comforting which is very welcome when you suffer continuous pain and discomfort. I can understand why people might think the machine is expensive, but if it helps, then it's worth it. It's not going to cure my arthritis and it may not bring down the swelling, but I would say that the benefit I get from using it so far has been worth the money. I would definitely recommend the machine and I am considering buying another one as a gift for a family member. If you find it doesn't suit you, you can return it under their money back guarantee.
Personally, I have issues with this device. I would recommend it because I've seen my family members use it and it works as described in the ad. For example, when my daughter (40) uses it she can feel it when its turned on to the lowest setting and she can't take it (too strong) if it goes above 50. Others who have used it are roughly about the same. They can feel the electrical pulse when set on low levels. When I (73) use it I have to turn it up to 99 before I can feel anything at all. If I stay there with my feet on it and its turned up to 99 I will feel the pulse after a few minutes and then I have to turn it down to 89 so that I can enjoy the 30 minutes I spend on it (every day). As far as the "benefit" goes, I'm not sure its doing anything. I still feel its good for me but haven't experienced less swelling or less pain or easier walking. I decided to keep it because I like the idea of the electrical stimulation to increase circulation in the muscles of my legs. I am obese and cannot get around anymore without a walker or rollator so I think this device is doing some good (but I'm really not sure of that ). I would suggest that if someone is thinking of buying it to try it out for the 60 days and either keep it or send it back depending on whether or not you think its doing any good. My daughter was screaming in pain when she tried it over 50, my son (45 ) was screaming because he was trying to see how high he could tolerate it. My sister (61) liked it and could feel the electrical pulses when she had it on 55. So I think its totally an individual decision on whether its worth keeping or not. I'll keep using it and who knows ----- it may help get my leg muscles in better shape or at least help with circulation issues.
I have a spinal cord injury (SCI) and bought this machine to help ease the heaviness in my legs due to my circulation being affected. For me this product was a win win - if it didn’t help then I could send it back.I love the portability of the device. It is light, has a carrying handle, rechargeable battery and a remote control. For someone who has limited mobility this has ensured that I use it every day as it is so easy. I recently went on a long haul flight and took it on board the plane and used it several times. I also used it whilst on holiday having meals which enabled me to have my legs down without the pain.As an SCI survivor, this has so many benefits - the stimulation helps circulation, increase lost sensation, helps fire up muscles that were paralysed ... MoreI have a spinal cord injury (SCI) and bought this machine to help ease the heaviness in my legs due to my circulation being affected. I also used it whilst on holiday having meals which enabled me to have my legs down without the pain.As an SCI survivor, this has so many benefits - the stimulation helps circulation, increase lost sensation, helps fire up muscles that were paralysed from my injury and works muscles that have already regained some strength.I have recommended this to another SCI survivor who is also benefitting from it. As an SCI survivor sensation is very limited, so for the intensity to go up to 99 is brilliant. I use it at about level 60, but am working at decreasing this level with the hope that the continuous stimulation will help bring back more sensation.I have not used the TENS element, as I have a portable TENS machine, however I am sure that it would be as equally effective.I can quite literary say that this machine has given me a new lease of life!
Have it as a present to needy case but he couldnt use it without the missing Instructions! Needed for complex unit. We think we got the one off the shelf and waited at the counter while the b was retrieved from the Store Room, but instructions missing. Our son visited another GGs shop to arrange for instructions but swapped it for a better newer model which works well. Box should have been checked.
Was looking forward to using this product as am a type two diabetic & wanting to improve blood circulation in my feet. The intensity settings are from 1-99 & believed this would give plenty of scope with using device. First use in accordance to instructions level was at 75, second use 86 & third use at 99. Level 99 on third use with fluctuating impulse was doing nothing for me. Suggest try instore before you purchase. No good for me at all & subsequently returned.
I am always a bit sceptical when I see full page ads in a national newspaper promoting a particular product. My preference is to hear about a product from friends and acquaintances, do the research, read the reviews, then make a decision. My knee pain as a result of athritis in both knees has been worsening, particularly in damp weather and general circulation in my legs not great. So you might say it was time to act to see if I could slow things down a bit. I watched the Ian Botham video a couple of times, read quite a few reviews and decided to make the investment in the unit itself (athritis-knee), the bag and some foot and leg gel to complete the purchase.I got down to business as soon as the product arrived which was within a few days of order, using the ... MoreI am always a bit sceptical when I see full page ads in a national newspaper promoting a particular product. So you might say it was time to act to see if I could slow things down a bit. I watched the Ian Botham video a couple of times, read quite a few reviews and decided to make the investment in the unit itself (athritis-knee), the bag and some foot and leg gel to complete the purchase.I got down to business as soon as the product arrived which was within a few days of order, using the knee/thigh pads for 20 minutes on each leg, rounding off with 30 minutes for my feet, and have continued this regime since the middle of November last year. The instruction booklet suggests using the pads five times a week and the unit on my feet seven times a week and that is what I have been doing. The intensity settings on the unit range from 0-99 and , as another reviewer put it, it is important to remember that 99 is not a target. In fact I have found 45 to 55 gives quite a workout for my knees whereas I prefer around 30-35 for my feet. In the beginning ( and for a couple of weeks or so) I set the unit at around 20 to 25. Sometimes now I drop the knee settings to 35 as and when. This is a long term therapy so no point enduring any discomfort. In the first instance, I found my ankles hurt a bit after use but that disappeared after about a week. My knees were fine from the start. Wherever possible, I have tried to combine use of the unit with walking more, good leg and foot position to achieve positive balance whilst walking and then using the unit in the evening. For me, I believe the improvement has been slow and steady. It may be my imagination but I think my calf muscles have grown a little (tip - measure your calves before you start the regime which I didn't think to do), and I have much less discomfort in my knees. I seem to be getting at least two weeks use out of my knee/thigh pads, the gel will last for ages as you only require a small pea-sized quantity to rub in to the soles of your feet. I am not entirely pain-free (that's why it is unrealistic for me to give a 10 out of 10 score) but considerably better than when I started. So, in summary, I am pleased I bought the unit. Yes, I would recommend it to others. Use the unit every day, play the long game and expect to see improvement over time and I don't think you will be disappointed.
