I was quite skeptical first trying this as I was worried it would be like the old Colorstay formula but this foundation is AMAZING!! My shade in this is medium beige and the formula is quite a thick almost mousse like consistency. I applied this with a brush and beauty blender and both worked a treat. It goes on flawlessly and stays on ALL day! I would put this on with my other makeup (concealer, contour etc) and by 5pm it would still be looking great with no patchiness. I will definitely be purchasing this again. Recommend this for oily skin types as my skin type is oily and it stays perfectly matte all day with no breakthrough oiliness. Also.. I wore this before going for a 2 hour walk and run and it stayed on the whole time. Picture attached was taken after my run!

First, I would like to start by telling you that, a few years ago, I developed chemical sensitivities after a chemical exposure; since, my skin has become particularly sensitive to a lot of chemicals and fragrances found in many cosmetics. Revlon has been one of the very few (if not, the only) drug store brand foundation that I am able to wear without irritation or burning –which I am grateful for, as I have been using Revlon foundations for most of the last 40 years -simply because it has been the best that I have found –and just as good (and better, in some cases) than expensive department store brands. For the last several years I have been using Revlon's Colorstay Whipped™ Crème Makeup and absolutely love it –it is truly the best foundation I have ever found in ... MoreFirst, I would like to start by telling you that, a few years ago, I developed chemical sensitivities after a chemical exposure; since, my skin has become particularly sensitive to a lot of chemicals and fragrances found in many cosmetics. This foundation was everything you said it was when I first found it: It was " finally, truly decadent makeup that offers ultimate performance. The mousse-like texture feels like silk on your skin and the time release formula balances skin for a flawless look. All-day, flexible wear without flaking, caking, or feeling heavy." The "bouncy, whipped formula flexes with skin for all-day comfort", it withstands heat and humidity and wears perfectly for up to 24 hours. It is the perfect consistency mixed with a healthy glow. I apply it with my fingers. No brush, no beauty blender (it is easier to wash my hands before applying –than trying to keep a foundation brush or sponge clean and bacteria-free). It melds seamlessly into my skin for a wonderfully natural finish that I have been complimented on many times over.Needless to say, I am so very disappointed that you have discontinued this product –and have to question your judgement in doing so. This product has had raving reviews online and even in Yuotube videos. At one time, by your own reviews, on the Revlon website it was one of your best rated products. –So, why would you discontinue it? If this product was lacking in sales, I seriously doubt that it was because of the lack of excellence or "decadent" characteristics of the product –but, maybe, more likely due to the lack of diligence in marketing (that it so deserved). I would have taken a more serious look at how this product could have been marketed better –to get more women actually trying it –once you try it, it is hard not to love it.At your suggestion, I tried your Colorstay Full Cover foundation, but did not get the coverage, wear or appearance that I got from the Colorstay Whipped Crème foundation. Liquid foundation, also, does not give me the coverage, wear or appearance I desire … and your PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution foundation actually irritated my skin (the first Revlon foundation that has irritated my skin). So, I am pleading with you to bring back your Colorstay Whipped™ Crème Makeup –PLEASE!

This shade is slightly darker than the same shade in the liquid range (for oily skin), and slightly too dark for my skintone but, due to the lack of coverage, it still matches my skintone (the palest shade being pink based, this one is a no-go for me). This is now in an easy-to-carry lightweight squeeze tube, and I freaking love that : in addition to being waaaay less bulky/heavy/breakable than the old glass jar, this also better protects the product from drying over time (the old packaging made the foundation loosing its fluffiness and becoming thicker, more difficult to blend, once I was halfway to the bottom). One added bonus is the amount of product you get : while the old jar contained only 23.7 ml, the new tube contains the regular 30 ml amount for about the same price. The consistency remains the same : sensual, buttery smooth, its texture looks like a marshmallow-y balm which glides like a dream, stretches almost without limits, and meshes like a second skin. I used to think the old one should have been labelled "Primer-Inside", the new one is actually labelled as containing a built-in primer. The coverage seems weaker than before, I only get a sheer-to-light coverage with one stretched layer (even Revlon Photoready Candid has more coverage with the same amount of product used). But I don't want to build it up as I find it to look cakey when too much product is applied, so I stick on that light natural coverage. It's so far from being a full coverage foundation that I think Revlon simply put this label on the tube just to increase sales.I used to apply the old one with a kabuki brush (either a round or flat top one), but as my skin is way more sentitive than ever before, I gave up on brushes for foundation application. It works with a damp sponge as long as you swipe it before bouncing (the thicker the layer, the more coverage you get but the cakier the finish). I also use a dry puff (same type as Tati's Blendiful but a much less overpriced dupe), with my swipe & bounce method and it works perfectly. The setting speed is really slow, allowing lots of playtime for blending it to perfection, but it still has the potential to settle into fine lines until it's set so don't hesitate to freeze it in place with a translucent powder immediately after application on textured/movable areas. It has an oily feeling to begin with as well as a tacky feeling, and transfers onto everything so use a puff to set it otherwise it will coat and glue together the bristles of your powder brush.Once it's well blended, well set, it doesn't move anymore (but don't touch it too much because it still transfers), doesn't slide off because of sweat or natural oils, and controls shine pretty well without the very strong matte-sometimes-chalky finish some oil controlling foundations can have, the finish is super-smooth with a natural non-powdery finish and a lit-from-within glow, it blurs pores and fine lines nicely without looking fake or powdery. But it's NOT matte at all !!! Don't get me wrong, the finish is gorgeous but it's nothing alike to the matte finish claimed by Revlon, so claiming it's matte is misleading. The major downside is it's very drying/dehydrating (more than the Colorstay Whipped was, the sodium hyauronate has been removed from the formula), my skin flakes if I wear it more than two days in a row, so prepare to moisturize heavier than usual.I also add a picture comparing the ingredient lists of the discontinued Colorstay Whipped vs the Colorstay Full Cover (all ingredients in red are common to both formulas, the ones in black are not).Let's expand the currently poor shade range to be more inclusive, especially towards deep shades (and I'd like to see a true yellow based shade as pale as ivory) and everything will be even better.

After the foundation I have been using for the last 20 years was discontinued, I have bought likely a dozen different products to try. Revlon Colorstay Full Cover Matte is better than most. My skin is pretty sensitive. After use, I did not have burning, a rash, or break out as I did with other products I tried. Make up was quite creamy with a slight powdery feel. It applied smoothly and had a silky finish. I do find it to feel a bit drying to my skin though. I would definitely consider buying again if there was more of a color selection. At the light end of the spectrum, I tried both 110 ivory and 150 buff. Ivory has far too much pink undertones for me, where as Buff has more of a creamy undertone, but is a shade too dark. At 60 years old, I thought oily skin would be a thing of the past. My skin is as oily as ever, after Loreal discontinued Mattique line ( 90's) I tried all; dept store brands ( worst matching ever ), grocery store & drug store brands, and many different types of primers to augment the mattifying effect. Revlon Color Stay combined with a suitable primer ( be cognizant of silicone vs water based primer ) proves to be the foundation that I will use. I actually received a compliment on how good my skin looked ( not the makeup, my skin ! ) The color stayed trued as opposed to darkening as the day goes on and the foundation did not "float" around on my skin like so many other "matte" foundations. Definitely full coverage. I don’t even use concealer. A little bit goes a long way. This foundation covers my acne scars better than any other product I’ve found and let me tell you I have tried so many high end products. My son actually squeezed out over half of it and still using this product 5 days a week I’ve been using the same tube for 3 months. Absolutely amazing as other foundations I’ve used previously have taken so much to get an even coverage. This product does not make my acne any worse. Although I do use moisturizer, then primer, then the foundation so that helps. The foundation is matte so I am not left looking dewy, my blush is kinda shiny though. One of the best most cost effective product i have used in a long time. it has a great natural finish and even though it is a matt finish it still has a nice silky finish that does not make you look like a porcelain doll. Spreads evenly and not runny so you never applying more than you should. Very easy to blend. For the price it is really worth the buy. Definitely can compete with the higher priced well known brands. If you looking for something not too expensive this would be the product to buy. All you need to find is your perfect shade and you should be good to go.
I've been using Revlon products from wayyy back, we're talking 10yrs plus! I've used them long enough to know that when they say "new design same formula", this is a flat out lie. But alas, I purchase anyway because even though the formula changes slightly, their tone range has always been an absolute match for neutral/yellow/pink skin tones and that's hard to find. I love how this foundation gives me medium coverage with one layer and if I really want the professional airbrushed look, one more layer does the trick. It has a beautiful, buttery, soft texture that wont leave your face looking dull, settle into fine lines or accentuate pores. So what am I so upset about right? Well, they did it again - "New design, same formula". However this time, neutral tones have been given an ORANGE undertone. I purchased this in 'NUDE' as I have for a decade, and what used to look like my skin but better, left me looking like a victim of a blotchy fake tan by 12pm on a workday. Not only that, but if anything touches your face even slightly, the foundation will slide and leave you smudged, something that never happened in the past. This was the best drugstore foundation for a girl on a budget, now I have to find another that does the job without the big $$$ tag.
Just bought this because I've been looking for a foundation that lasts through a full day and doesn't break or highlight the texture on my skin. This 100% delivered everything I wanted. My makeup stayed perfect and my skin looked smooth and flawless through 8 hours of extreme use (tailgating in Florida, eating, drinking, an MLS soccer game, and a few hours at the bars downtown) and really didn't transfer onto anyone's clothes when I hugged them. I really liked the way this blended out, just using my fingers. It didn't settle into any fine lines in my forehead or around my eyes. The color match was also really good-- I did have to google to figure out which shade was a neutral light/medium but it was perfect and did not oxidize. I was trying to rush out the door when ... MoreJust bought this because I've been looking for a foundation that lasts through a full day and doesn't break or highlight the texture on my skin. I was trying to rush out the door when I put this on, so I didn't use a setting powder or spray to make it last longer, just a quick layer of the Revlon PhotoReady Primer underneath. Neither product was super drying, it was a velvety natural finish but I didn't look oily or greasy. It felt lightweight but the coverage was still great. I kept checking it in the mirror over the course of the day and night to see if I needed to touch it up but it still looked like I had just put it on. This is definitely a product I'm going to be buying over and over. I've been burned by foundations at tons of different price points and this foundation is better than products I've spent $40-50 on and had to buy a special brush to apply correctly. This is like a holy grail product for me now.
Looooved this product for many years. Always bought Nude Matte 200 and always the same great foundation. Affordable, perfect color match, easy and even application, light, made my skin look as smooth as a peach. The last time I purchased this product (maybe two months ago) I noticed the packaging was different. Turns out the foundation was different, too!!! It feels different, but also the color is more orange now. No longer blends well into my neck or around my hairline. I tried another tube and it was the same. Why did you have to change this?! This would have been my forever foundation!!!!! Why orange?! No one wants to look like this. You had it perfect the first time.I would still recommend this IF you can find a good color match. Maybe I need to go a shade ... MoreLooooved this product for many years. Always bought Nude Matte 200 and always the same great foundation. Maybe I need to go a shade lighter... just anything less gross brown-orange-fake tanny.
