Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain Lip Gloss 045 New York Scene New York Scene is a bright, candy apple red with a high shine finish. Unlike most of the other Revlon Moisture Stains, this shade looks even once you’ve allowed it to set for 10-20 seconds. Of the shades 001-040, this is the only color I’ve tried that’s fully smooth on the lips. This stain has a gel-like formula that isn’t sticky, but does have body to it and a slight tackiness. The formula does do a great job of moisturizing the lips. The gloss itself is not transfer or smudge resistant. This shade also leaves a translucent red stain behind on the lips.
