Revlon Matte Balm 260 Passionate

This review is for the shade ‘Unapologetic’. These balms received a lot hype when they first came out and for good reason. At $17.95 they are at an affordable price point, especially because they are fantastic quality.\n\nThe balm itself is a lightweight matte, which is fantastic, because I’ve owned many awful mattes that felt like they were suffocating my lips because of how heavy they were! The smooth finish looks velvety and is similar to the finish NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils give. It also doesn’t dry my lips out hugely, which is incredible for a matte lipstick! At around the 5hr mark I apply some lipbalm as my lips start to feel a little bit dry, but that stops any further dryness in it’s tracks - I can wear Revlon’s balm stick all night long from this point without any discomfort!\n\nI do find that I need to reapply after eating or drinking, which is common for most lipsticks. I am also okay with reapplying because Revlon hasn’t made any longevity or waterproof claims.\n\nThe colour ‘Impassioned’ is gorgeous - a vibrant reddy-pink. I actually own MAC’s coveted Party Parrot and the two are an exact colour match! The colour really brightens up my complexion and compliments my brown eyes and blonde hair. I’m really impressed with the colour selection over all - there are trendy colours (such as the purple), staple colours (nudes, pinks), and bright additions.\n\nI think one aspect that could be improved is a sharpening option as once the tip blunts you can’t resharpen it (so I have to apply it with a lip brush to get clean edges). The print on the tube also rubs off, which is aesthetically annoying. However, the plastic tube is lightweight, and is sturdy - I haven’t noticed any cracking of the lid which is common when a brand has used cheaper materials - so I can tell that Revlon have invested money in the packaging.\n

I absolutely love the Revlon Matte Lip Balm! The color payoff is fantastic, and it glides on smoothly without feeling heavy. It's long-lasting and doesn't dry out my lips. The matte finish gives a trendy look, and the compact design makes it easy to carry. Definitely a must-have in any makeup bag!

One to two swipes of this colour last for most of the day without needed a touch up. If you want a more pigmented and richer colour you simply apply again. The stain on this lasts a good 4-5 hours. You can get a super intense colour or a blotted look if you apply this very sparingly. I make sure my lips are super moisterised before as they can dry your lips out a bit. It is a beautiful shade of brownish pink, it gives color but without being striking. I have already bought several so as not to be left without any when the one I have runs out. With a good price The longevity is quite good and, although it is matte, it is also a little creamy, so it does not dry out the lips. When applied it leaves a minty sensation and that seemed strange to me at first, but it is not unpleasant.

Gorgeous Matte Balm Lipstick - So Wearable!

I love this colour in this balm-feel formula that I have. There is just the right amount of lightness in this colour "Complex" that I have - it's a little lighter than my skin colour and makes a really nice 'mod' look on me. It's not one that makes my lips stand out bright but instead makes them pale and modern but not too pale - it's just right and it is one of my fave lip products. I love the matte finish - it's understated and the formula is creamy and not greasy feeling like some can be. This has a slight minty fragrance and is great for a refreshing feel on the lips but not overpowering.The tube twists up as I wear the lip product out - I just twist the silver base and up comes more of my favourite lippy. Looks good feels good and lasts inexpensive Love

Best purchase love this I bought four amazing . Inexpensive. Does not break easily stays on best lipstick I have purchased in years and so inexpensive. Honestly I’m obsessed I went back and got four. Quality brand which owns other expensive names. Still can not believe how good this product is. Does not easily melt when left on gym bag in car .
