I've shoulder length very fine hair that's prone to frizzing. I've had this dryer for just over a month. First thing I was shocked at was how big the brush is. Really can't see anyone being able to use on short hair.So far, I've found the high heat setting far too hot so just use the low heat setting. It does take longer to dry (30 mins) but less than with a brush-hairdryer (45 mins).- definitely useful if you want to be done in 15 mins (level 2); personally, I wouldn't recommend using it too often.- very good for people who, regardless of the reason, have trouble using their hands (I have RSI in one hand and I was able to dry parts of my hair just with my good one, when the other started hurting).- the boar bristles really help with the shine and cut down on frizz.- didn't sweat when using it!CONS:- heat distribution throughout the brush is uneven, the top part on level one is maybe half the temp of the bottom half.- the second level heat is too much, the knob gets hot, the brush gets hot. It's quite a jump - there should be an intermediate level, or please tone down the heat on this one. I will probably not be using this unless I am absolutely time-pressured, with a bunch of heat protector sprayed in.- the cooling option takes SO LONG to kick in, I ended up not using it at all, which is no biggie if you're using just the first level setting.This being said, I will keep using it for the following personal reasons:- I like the first level heat setting; it's good for my hair and I know I won't be using the brush every single time, so no damage in the long run.- still faster than the brush-hairdryer combo.- easy to use in spite of my RSI.

Tried the original size brush but found it too large, this smaller size is perfect for my shoulder length, thick hair.The device overall is a bit bulky and heavier than a normal hairdryer but after a couple of uses, it becomes the norm.The nylon bristles make it easy to pick up a section of hair without using your hands and the boar bristles leave your hair really smooth and shiny.The negatives would be that the airflow could be more evenly distributed throughout the brush head to achieve better coverage.The high heat setting is VERY hot, way too hot for me to use so I have to use the lower setting which is better for my hair but takes longer as it's not as powerful. I have been using Babyliss Big Hair for years and I decided to try Revlon for a change.. i found 3 points which I believe if changed would be better :* Brush size should be smaller, it's too big for short hair*brush should be softer. It's too rigid and does feel painful* brush head should be rotating, as it is It's not providing desired styling..
This product is great. It really dries the hair and being a dryer and brush in one, means you don't need an implement in each hand, so it makes it really easy to use. I have jaw length fine hair and was sceptical as the brush is quite big but it does a great job. Getting the roots dry takes a bit of effort, again because the brush is quite big so doesn't necessarily 'hit' the roots but overall it's been great for the party season.
I bought this 2 weeks ago and I am really impressed . I have never been able to dry and style my hair and have spent so much money on numerous stylers only to be disappointed with e their performance. Until Now . The revlon hot brush is just outstanding !! It drys and styles my shoulder length hair beautifully with such ease. What I’m really happy about is how soft and silky it leaves my hair this is really hard he cherry on the cake my hair is already in much better condition . No more frizz Iwould highly recommend this product it’s easy to use and a pure delight just wish I had bought it sooner

I've tried on different wetness and would say it worked better on more than towel dried hair... slightly more than damp. It doesn't get it as straight as a flat iron but it also doesn't make it frizzier than a hair dryer alone. It reduces time by half for me. As it was 10/15 mind drying and then another 10 mins straightening, I am happy with a slight wave/curl that the One Step leaves, but if i was going out anywhere (obviously not done for the Lat year) I would go over with my GHD.I would recommend using an anti frizz or styling product on hair first.
