An overall good foundation
I got the shade Buff 120 because the chart says it's a neutral shade. For being neutral, it pulls a little yellow, so the color matches me better once I have a bit of a tan (my skin pulls more neutral/cool in the winter.) I love that the container has a pump, but as everyone is mentioning, the container doesn't have a lot of product in it.The foundation itself is thick but feels very lightweight on the skin. I use a damp beauty blender so it looks natural, and it blends well and gives surprisingly good coverage. It dries down to almost a powdery finish. The finish is a satin matte, and it looks very smooth and natural on the skin. It lasts around 7-8 hours on my combination skin, which is good but not great. The best thing about this foundation is that it looks amazing in photos, hence the name!My biggest issue with it is that if you have any dryness, this will cling to it. It gets cakey between my brows and around my nose and will crumble around acne spots. When I tried it in the winter, it was just too drying to look/ feel natural. So it's best as a spring/summer/fall foundation. Definitely prep your skin and moisturize well beforehand! Some extra notes: use a pore filling primer if you have large pores, because in real life (not photos) pores look a little enlarged. Also, this is one of those foundations that will start to look a little shiny in the T-zone area as the day progresses, so I use a matte setting spray and that helps.Whew! Okay, overall this a good foundation, you just have to work with it a little bit!... Show more

Excellent product, My new daily makeup!
I prefer a light, natural coverage makeup look and I am so happy to have found this foundation. I was previously using another brand of makeup`s BB cream for years and it was just starting to make me breakout and started looking oily on my face. I did a lot of searching for lightwear foundations. As I have horrible allergies and so many products out there contain way too many ingredients and way too much on the sunscreen side, trying to find a new makeup can be discouraging...However, this foundation is such an improvement for me in just a few days! My skin feels better, looks better and brighter and I am now even wondering if something in my other makeup was irritating my nasal allergies as after switching to this, I feel like my allergies seem a little better too! ... I thought I might need a primer switching to foundation but this foundation wears great on its own and with a little setting powder to finish. Thank you Revlon for such a great product! This is a keeper and please don't change it as its perfect as it is! This is now my new daily makeup!... Show more

Good for those who like medium coverage
I was so excited to be a part of trial team for this foundation as I love a lot of Revlon products.First impression - the package is bit smaller - about 30% smaller than usual foundation packs but looking at the creamy consistency that spreads easily like a face cream, it will probably last a long time. I love that it's a soft tube that can easily stay in your carry along make-up kit and the pump dispenser makes it even more user friendly. The product doesn't have any particular fragrance which is another plus point in my book.Using it - I have been playing around with this for a few days now and having tried all three methods of application - sponge, brush and fingers - brush definitely works better than the other two. Although, with all three one problem remains consistence - doesn't stick well on dry patches like nose & upper lips - ends up looking rather flaky. (yes, I had applied a nourishing face cream before getting started with foundation)If you're in a rush and have to apply with fingers, it will do but might not get a good finish. For those who like lighter coverage, go with the sponge though. I honestly, go with a forth option - mix it with face oil or face cream and apply with brush - because I like very very light and dewy looking coverage. On it's own, this foundation provides a matte satin finish without any setting powder. Really, just give it a minute to dry up and no setting powder required. I wouldn't recommend going for a high coverage because not only this tiny tube will run out very quickly, it will also starts creasing in some places after few hours.Best worn as light or medium coverage, this foundation really can last whole day. It is also great at shine control and reflecting light - which I guess is what they mean by photo-ready. Although, I wouldn't be taking close up portraits with this (yup, I'm a photographer) as it weirdly highlights all the little bumps that you'd like to hide. But, having said that, it does work great with selfies on phone.Even though my selected tone - natural beige - turned out to be lighter and cooler than I expected, I wasn't disappointed at how it looked after application - this creamy fluid blends really well. Which makes me wonder why they have 16 shades. I personally find it bit too much and rather confusing. But if I had to buy it again, I'd probably go for Sun beige or macadamia or may be honey beige (you see what I mean. My skin tone is medium wheatish Indian)Overall, probably not my kind but still decent product for those like to wear light make-up everyday that would last long.... Show more

Great Lightweight Foundation
I decided to give this product a try and overall, I actually think it is a good foundation but that is because this foundation fit my needs. I don't need or want a thick, deep pigmented foundation to cover my face. I like a light weight foundation, that is more creamy rather than liquid or a paste, that is giving a light to medium coverage (depending on how much you use) for a natural look. If that is what you like or what you are looking for, this foundation could be for you. There are a number of shades to choose from so color matching shouldn't be an issue. I think I could stand to go a shade or two darker, which I am going to try, but even with the color I chose, I felt like I got a decent coverage. I just had to use a little more of the product. When I change my color, I am sure I'll use less product. For application, I use a foundation brush, and I felt like the application was super easy. The foundation glides right on, and blending with my brush was just as easy as with my make up bag staple foundation, Thrive's CC Cream. The foundation itself doesn't feel heavy on my skin. It feels like I am not wearing anything at all, which I love. I saw some reviews that said the make up was visible in pictures. I have to assume those people were not properly color matching for themselves or they just didn't do a very good job applying because my face was flawless. I would not be leaving my house otherwise! I set this foundation with Revlon's new Candid Setting Powder (which I will review separately) which definitely amplified the foundation. I always use a setting power and I was happy with this one. My makeup lasted the entire night and not once did I feel like my face was cakey, oily, that the make up was coming off or peeling, etc. I felt great the entire night and I thought I looked great as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend this foundation to anyone who likes this type of foundation.... Show more

Great product for natural looking matte coverage
Excellent foundation, it provides very smooth even coverage and I'm not a fan of "dewy face" preferring a more matte finish which is what this product provides. I have mature skin and it is very effective at covering a few freckles and creases! Yes it does even out skintone without a primer being necessary I find ( although a primer would certainly make it even more effective) A little goes a long way thus it is good value at the price. As a fair skinned natural redhead I use the ivory shade which is a warm ivory and blends beautifully with my skin tone.... Show more

I love it
I received this foundation in the shade Buff chamois. This shade is light to light medium and I would say it definately has a yellow undertone to it. The packaging is a plastic tube with a pump on the end. It is a decent pump that springs back nicely and delivers a good amount of product with each press. I used to love the glass bottles that foundations came in but now I am obsessed with the tubes as you can get every last drop out of them and then cut them open and still get into the corners. So I appreciate the packaging. The formula is quite a thick liquid. I used around 3 pumps for full face application. The product applied beautifully with a sponge and a brush but I get more coverage from a beauty sponge. The coverage of this foundation is fantastic. It states that it’s medium buildable coverage but I find it to be near full coverage with only a few areas needed to be built up. Once I have done my whole face it doesn’t feel heavy and it definately doesn’t look cakey and the rest of my makeup applies beautifully on top.As for the added benefits of anti-pollution, antioxidant, anti-blue light ingredients, this is a massive plus. To have good quality additives in our skincare and also in our foundations is a win win for me. I appreciate that the foundation is made without oils, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes or fragrances and it’s good to know that you won’t be making your skin worse when using a foundation.Overall I will be definately repurchasing this foundation... in a little bit darker of a shade but I’m won over by it and it’s an affordable price. The only thing that slightly bothers me is that it only has 22ml. Foundation should be a standard of 30ml and that’s why I knocked off a star... Show more

My new favorite foundation
Wow, I love this foundation! I'd been using Revlon's Color Stay Full Cover foundation and liked it well enough, but it was a little too thick and I was looking for something with a bit less coverage. I decided to try the PhotoReady Candid foundation and am so glad I did! It actually feels thicker to me than the Full Cover foundation so I need to sheer it out a little with moisturizer or serum, BUT, there is so much to love about this product. The packaging is perfect--super easy to travel with and get the right amount of product out. The consistency is thick--I would say this is medium to full coverage--but it blends beautifully, so I can just wear it in a few places on my face and don't need to do a full face of it. While the tube seems a little small, because the product is so dense I feel like it'll last quite a while. It doesn't seem to exaggerate any dry patches, doesn't have any smell to it, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or give me pimples. Also, the color match was really nice--I'm somewhere between Buff and Sand Beige in the Full Cover foundation, so I picked up the Candid foundation in the shade Nude and while it may still be a tad too light for me because it's so thick, it does blend well with my skin tone. This also stays put until I wash it off, doesn't change color on me, and doesn't seem to dry my skin out or make it oily. I'm so excited I gave this a shot, and will continue to purchase when I run out!... Show more

Nice, Natural coverage
From the 31 shades available I opted to trial 200 nude, which was a good match for my light, pink-toned skin. I was excited to trial this product which is advertised as being infused with antioxidants, anti-pollution and anti-blue light ingredients. It does not include oils, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes and fragrances. I am the first to admit I do not necessarily understand what all of this means but after using this as my only foundation for the past 10 days my skin is feeling better for it!Packaging is not normally something I put too much emphasis on however I think it is worth comment in this case. The product comes in a 22ml light pink plastic squeeze tube with a pump top and a cap. I preferred this to the usual glass bottles as it was lighter and easier to carry in my handbag and also removed the stress factor of the risk of dropping the bottle (I’m still reeling over the loss of a full bottle of MAC that I dropped on the bathroom tiles last year). It is worth noting that the pump cannot be removed which may make it difficult to get all of the product out of the container but time will tell on that one.The product itself blends well and it only takes a small amount of product to achieve a natural finish. While I tend to opt for a heavier coverage I found that this evened my skin out well. I found it applied well with a beauty blender or just using my fingers and applied less well with a brush. I am also finding that it lasts well throughout the day on my skin, which tends to be on the dry side.Overall, I enjoyed this product because it easy to apply and blend while still covering blemishes. I also enjoyed that it is intended to be good for skin, which is something I am increasingly focused on as I creep towards 30. I will continue to use this product for my daily foundation and will likely repurchase.... Show more

So natural feeling and looking
I haven’t worn makeup in a very long time. Now that I’m going mask free more often, I wanted to start up again. I’m 52, have light skin, with cool/pink undertones. I have normal to dry sensitive skin. I was looking for a foundation that has a light to medium coverage, and that can be buildable. I didn’t want all-day wear, or super matte finish. They can be too heavy, or cakey feeling. And, very drying. After reading many reviews, and the product details, I decided on this foundation. I was nervous about picking a color online. However, I nailed it. I selected 200 Nude. The photo of the color appeared to show a cool/pink tone. This is what I wanted. It states that the undertone is cool. It also stated the feel/finish as well. The finish is soft, non sticky. As if you put finishing powder on afterwards. No need for powder at all. The color and feel is perfect!! I use a round, flat top brush to apply (see photo) This is the BEST way to apply foundation, period. A little bit goes a very long way. I put a small amount on the brush, and dab it into my skin. It blends right in. The fact that this foundation is a light to medium coverage makes it so natural looking, and feeling. Since I have some redness on my cheeks and forehead, I can dab a little extra there without it looking heavy. I love that the tube has a pump dispenser. That allows you to control the amount of product that comes out. I highly recommend this. An incredible product for the price.... Show more
