For some reason I expected to be unimpressed by this, maybe lukewarm at best, but this blew my mind! This is a stunning foundation. It provides light to medium coverage, with a blurring but dewy finish that Iâve been absolutely obsessed with. Usually dewy foundations can draw attention to pores and pore size, as highlighters can do sometimes, but this doesnât have that effect. It still blurs away pores instead of putting a magnifying glass on them. Now, itâs not poreless like a matte foundation or a pore filling primer. Itâs more that they become much less noticeable, and the radiance from the foundation takes center stage. I also like that this isnât so dewy that I risk looking greasy. Part way through the day I will dab the tiniest amount of shine-controlling powder along my t-zone, just to combat that mid-day oil breakthrough, and it just goes back to looking like I just applied it. The powder, oils, and foundation melt together beautifully. I was surprised to see that this wore very well over a busy 12-hour shift, and didnât look horrendous by the time I got home. I will say that this is, at the very most, a medium coverage product. It just doesnât build up beyond that, no matter how itâs applied, or if I wait for it to dry down a little first. It does sheer out nicely, so itâs perfect for days you just want something to even everything out. Two thumbs up! Five stars! I highly recommend this!

This foundation gives a dewy look but more of a luminescent glow. It is a medium, buildable coverage and goes on nicely. The first time I used this I did have to pump it several times to get the product out. Not a dealbreaker but something to be aware of. The scent is barely there and non-descript. I like that this is free of parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, harsh fragrances and itâs non-comedogenic. Itâs available in 16 shades from very light to deep. It claims it blocks pollutants but I donât really put too much stock in that since we are exposed every day to pollution in some form or fashion and no matter what foundation youâre wearing, youâre still getting exposure. I only wish this had a sunscreen factor but other than that, I really do like this a lot. My ... MoreThis foundation gives a dewy look but more of a luminescent glow. I prep my skin very well before applying makeup, with eye cream and moisturizer. I use primer, sparingly, and then I apply this with a damp makeup sponge, (I use one from DSMD that Samantha March recommended as being better than Beauty Blender). I also use my fingers to pat out some areas, and then I apply the concealer from this line, sparingly, and then powder under my eyes and around my nose ever so slightly. Finally I often use the Flower Beauty Hydrating Setting Spray. I am so happy to have found such an affordable option, that works better than many of my high end foundations and tinted moisturizers.I am light with cool, pink undertones, but went with the neutral Vanilla over the cool toned Ivory, because I wanted to tone down the red in my skin, (and tbh, I think it was $3 less to buy that color on Amazon!). I definitely recommend trying it out if you have more mature, dry skin, but honestly I think this would be nice on most skin types.

I picked this up when I ran out of my high end foundation at the drug store on sale for $3.99 and after using it for a few days I went back and bought two more! This is perfect in every way! The shade match is unreal, the coverage is perfect for me which is a medium coverage and the finish is SO natural! I just turned 40 and have some larger pores but this never looks cakey. Best part is is that it stays put all day and never becomes blotchy. I am thrilled about this amazing find!
This sheer foundation has natural looking finish. It gives your skin and enhancing hydration that last all day. Itâs a medium coverage that can build a little, but I donât think it builds all the way to full coverage. It doesnât have oils pins, synthetic, dies, or a harsh fragrance. It has incredible range of shades â 31 to be exact although itâs in a tube it has a pump dispenser at the top. It lies along the skin effortlessly. It works well with or without a primer. It doesnât settle into fine lines or highlight texture on my mature skin. Did I mention that itâs very affordable. ďżź
When I think of good drugstore makeup, [brand:revlon] doesn't cross my mind and when I do make a trip to the drugstore for makeup, I usually avoid the [brand:revlon] section. Their products don't appeal to me nor has a [brand:revlon] product ever just wowed me. Aaaand on my last drugstore trip I ate my words. Their Skin Lights highlighter was on display and immediately caught my eye. I found myself skimming the [brand:revlon] section. After snatching up the highlighter, I grabbed the Candid and Candid glow foundations. The candid glow foundation is their latest release and right on target with the glowy, glass skin and anti-blue light trends. Packaging: I love their choice of packaging here. The candid glow foundation is their latest release and right on target with the glowy, glass skin and anti-blue light trends. Packaging: I love their choice of packaging here. They swayed away from their typical glass packaging and went with a pump tube that's cleaner and more hygenic. First impressions and formula: The formula is lightweight and moisturizer like in consistency and feel. The coverage is quite sheer but buildable while still giving you a fresh, dewy and healthy looking complexion. I like that I can hide blemishes and even out my complexion while still allowing my skin to look like skin. Claims: *Anti-pollution, antioxidant, anti-blue light ingredients without parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, and fragrances *Skin-enhancing liquid makeup foundation infused with prickly pear oil for a hydrated, glowy finish and vitamin E to help block environmental aggressors *A lotion texture that goes on like a moisturizer, and finishes like a lightweight liquid foundation. Overall: Had this lasted a little longer, I would have rated it 5 stars. I started to notice some breaking up after about 5/6 hours, which was easily negated with some touch ups. I love the fresh and skin like finish I achieved with this foundation while still covering up the stray blemish or dark circle. I wouldn't reccomend this for anyone looking for a medium or full coverage foundation but it's definitely worth purchasing for light coverage or natural days. I will be purchasing a few of these to have on hand.
This product is somewhat more of a 3.5 rating as opposed to a four I would say. Itâs a gorgeous product: but simply not for me. This is clearly advertised as a lightweight coverage foundation so I was expecting it. But Iâve tried tinted moisturizers and BB creams with way more coverage. Also: this product only comes with .75 ounces as opposed to the usual 1 ounce in a foundation. I have literally used almost half the bottle by wearing this foundation 3 times by trying to build it up to the coverage I want. I also had to mix it in with some concealer to even attempt to cover some very minor acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. However when I built it up to the right coverage: this foundation was absolutely gorgeous. It is also long wearing. I didnât even have to set it. Despite being more luminous, I think this product âself setâ on my dryer skin so I didnât even have to go in with powder. Since I have more âimperfectionsâ I like to cover however, Iâd rather go with more a medium to full luminous foundation and sheer it out as opposed to using this product. Oddly enough, it applied best with a beauty sponge and building the coverage up by stamping it into place as opposed to brushes or hands which is never the case with such light coverage foundations. The only foundation brush I have on hand right now however is angled, so perhaps it was just the wrong kind of brush. Finally, the shade range is in all VERY disappointing. I donât typically have a problem finding my shade as a medium to tan gal. But there is not a single warm undertone tan shade that wouldâve worked for me. The ânatural tanâ shade had a far too rosy undertone for me. I seriously think revlon shouldâve waited to release this foundation if they werenât able to match the shades that are available in their original formula. It also must be noted that this product oxidizes like crazy as seen by some of these photos. The first picture is after it oxidized, and the second is before. The photos were taken less than two minutes apart. Overall, I was able to get a beautiful result with this product, but it just simply isnât for me due to the low coverage and the absolutely small shade range.

I will continue to try and get ahold of someone associated with your brand until I get answer. This product is CLEARLY wayyy to important to too many of your customers to get rid of completely.
This has got to be my third tube of candid glow and what a pleasant surprise it has been. The coverage and the colour match are very close to my skin tone which is great because I usually struggle having a neutral undertone. Applies excellent with either a sponge or brush. The glow is also not overwhelming so it's perfect for daily wear. The coverage dries down nicely over hours of wear and doesn't oxidise. I would recommend adding a nice finishing power to more oily areas as the shimmer particles may highlight those areas. The only downside for me is the price which can be expensive for the size and I usually wait til its on sale before I buy it. I usually mix it with other foundations to make it last longer and further its use.
I gave up on budget foundations many years ago because I could never find a shade pale enough and they rarely performed well on my dry and mature skin (I am in my late fifties). After seeing several people on YouTube praise the Revlon PhotoReady Candid Foundation, I bought it in the shade Porcelain. The foundation is in a plastic tube with a dispenser. The foundation was easy to blend to a satin matte finish. Some foundations do not adhere well to my cheeks where I have broken capillaries, but the foundation adhered well to this area. One layer of the foundation pooled into the larger pores on my cheeks and accentuated them; making this area look like polka dots. I applied several layers of foundation to my cheeks to minimise this and to get enough coverage for the broken capillaries. The foundation looked slightly caky in some areas when I looked in a makeup mirror, but I doubt that someone would notice this unless they were close to my face. All liquid foundations sink into deeper wrinkles due to my age, but this foundation separated very noticeably around the side of my nose after about two hours. I do not wear powder over foundation because my skin is dry, so it is possible that the separation would not have occurred if I had used powder. A silicone-based primer may also have reduced the separation, but I did not have one at that time (I prefer skin care as my primer).
