I found myself applying it like lotion on my exposed arms and wishing that the bottle was bigger as I wanted to use it on my body too as a highlight. I experimented with it highlighting my brow bones, cheekbones, lips, nose and chest. My favourite was the cheek highlight and decolletage. Least favourite place for it was my nose as it seemed to break down my Revlon foundation and I need to experiment more to use it there. I’ve never used a liquid highlighter before but gave this a go. I used it after my primer as a base to my foundation. It went on smoothly and was easy to apply. The texture not too thick or heavy. It was very sparkly! I put my foundation on the top and I could definitely see the glitter/sparkle/glow effect it’s going for. I naturally have oily skin so I didn’t feel like I needed enhancement of it, but I can see how it does make your skin glow. On other occasions, I also tried using it after my foundation as a highlighter for my cheeks. Again it definitely flowed, but I am looking for mire colour than just a glow on my cheek. I preferred using it under my foundation. Overall, it is a good product if you are looking for a nice glow with your make up. I tried this highlighter over-top of my regular liquid foundation and while a pretty glow I had a hard time trying to blend it in with my beauty blender. The next day I added the product to the high points of my cheeks and a little down my nose, this time before I applied my foundation and that seemed to work a little better to blend it in so it didn't look so patchy. I’m such a huge fan of skinlights. It’s one of Revlons best lines and I wish they would bring back the skinlights foundation! Until then I make do by mixing this gorgeous illuminator in with my foundation to give myself a beautiful glow. The Face Glow Illuminator can be used on your cheeks, under your eyebrows and a smidge on your Cupid’s bow and any other places the sun touches to look like a glowy angel. It’s liquid so you can use your fingers, a brush or a brush. The sunrise luster is a beautiful bronze shade that can help give a touch of tan if you’re a pale girl like me. It’s one of my favourite highlighters and I would recommend.
It was my birthday last month so thought before I get my fancy birthday makeup I'd buy this to tide me over. I'm comparing this to Charlotte tilbury and iconic London. It's great lightweight for overall adding to moisturiser or foundation or using as a highlighter. I will 100% buy again, just bought it as a fluke so glad I did.

On my first use, I applied on my cheekbones over my foundation with a sponge and then my fingertips and it produced a nice, subtle glow. The following day i mixed it with my foundation (which is what I do with my Dior Backstage highlighter) however the glow got lost and the product wasn't noticable at all. Since then I have used solely as a spot highlighter for my cheekbones and nose tip and have tried as a natural glowy eyeshadow which looks gorgeous. I've been looking for a non shimmery liquid highlighter for the longest time. I read the reviews and people mentioned that this one gave a natural glow amd wasn't shimmery. I bought this in hope it would be what I was looking for but was disappointed when it arrived. I put it on and had tons of little specks of glitter all on my face. I'm still searching for a liquid highlighter that gives me a natural glow with no shimmer/glitter.

I've since trialed it mixed into foundation and BB cream, and over both a matte and dewy foundation; it blends well or mixes nicely in all of these situations and doesn't break up my makeup like other more oily illuminators I've tried. I don't get why this doesn't have more hype? I'm on my second bottle and am truly obsessed. It's a total dupe for the CT Hollywood flawless filter. I use it all over the skin on no foundation days, as a glowy primer, and over makeup as a highlight! It truly works any ways.
I really like this product. It's light on the skin (pardon the pun), and creates a beautiful, lit-from-within appearance. It has a handy, precision applicator that allows you to control the amount of product tou want to apply. However, I found that blending it into the high points of my face with warmed fingers was what really gave the natural-glow appearance that I personally like. I have quite sensitive skin and had no adverse reaction to this illuminator. My skin tone is pale and I have red hair and sunrise luster (300) was the perfect shade. I do think I will continue using this product and I would recommend it to others to try. P.S. A tiny bit of this product goes A LONG way!!
