The sticks are very difficult to press down if you double click down on stick to sprint your hand starts hurting after a few seconds from the force required to keep it pressed in. The d pad is terrible with both cover options and activate all the other options when you try to just hit the right one. I've only activated the extra back buttons twice my large hands hit every button on the back by mistake. Feels very sensitive I have zero deadzone and it makes things awkward but im tired of messing with it. Battery life is very good.

I personally loved these additional weights; you can put them on the sides so that you get a very personalized experience while playing. The controller has a lot of buttons on its body, but you should be able to figure out their purpose easily pretty fast. Overall, I think this is probably the best controller on the market as of now, but only professionals will utilize its whole power.

There is still the tiniest bit of stick drift, but comparing it to every other competitive controller, it is at least half the minimum of others.The bumpers are in a unique placement compared to something like a Scuf or Dualsense Edge but I really have grown fond of them. I personally feel I only need 2 bumpers but having 4 gives the option to never need to take my right thumb off the right analog, making my aim always in tact.The left analog stick being in line with an xbox controller is comfortable to me as I used to play competitively on Xbox back in 2012, and I feel it helps with the bumper use due to my hand placement. If you haven't played an xbox layout, I find it easy to adjust. The controller shape is a nice size too, a little bit bulkier than a PS5 controller, which feels like an amazing size for what I need.Customizable triggers and button layout is pretty standard for a competitive controller but one feature this controller has that others dont is the adjustable size of the analog sticks. My strafing and circling is much smoother and quicker due to the largest sizer and its benefitted me alot for gaining that rotational aim assist with minimal movement.The only downside to this controller is that the USB-C port on the controller itself is built specifically for the cable provided with the controller, which makes It inconvenient when switching from wireless to wired or when trying to charge it, seeing as the PS5 only has 2 USB ports on the back and one of them is for my headset, but this inconvenience is easily overlooked by the performance of this controller.Only Sony controllers will have haptic feedback and vibration due to licensing, so dont expect either of those features when buying this, but if you play competitively, you dont want either of those active anyway.Ive seen so many negative reviews on this controller and I really believe its due to misunderstanding and lack of knowledge regarding the licensing, but if you play competitively, the Hall effect analog sticks alone change the game.The shape of the USB-C port is inconvenient but not enough to overlook the various upsides.

Everything you'd want in a pro controller

I was never one to care for pro controllers since I always felt like my usual controllers were good enough. But now that I've used this controller, I can understand why some people only use pro controllers. It just feels great compared to the usual controller, on top of the all the other features it has. This does have the left analog stick in the same position as an Xbox controller, so if you're not a fan of that layout, this might not be for you. Personally, I prefer the left stick there anyway since I also play on Xbox, but I think it'd be an easy adjustment once you feel used to that positioning. I received this product around release date since I preordered it. It was by far the best controller I have used. Best joysticks by far. Super comfortable. Very responsive and my primary controller when playing competitively. Only issue was a defective wire that never seemed to work properly. Since I have quite a few other wires I didn't worry about it. After a couple months of use my controller stop staying connected wired. I would try different cables but after a little bit the connection would stop working. I decided to use the included dongle, which worked great. So I planned to use the controller that way even though I prefer wired. While dealing with this issue my right thumbstick stopped holding the cap in place. If this is what type of service everyone experiences then no one should buy their product. As much as I enjoy the controller not being able to use it after a couple months isn't worth it. Any other company I've dealt with care enough about their customers to assist when their product stops working. Especially within the couple of months use.

So would I recommend this maybe but $200 is steep but the Nacon itself isn’t the worst controller out there it’s just in the middle of the pack

Overpriced accidental button pressing

I have played PlayStation for 20+ years and this has been my second worst controller ever.Right off the bat the controller was already drifting when using the left stick down or to the right and even after playing with it, it still drifted. Not only did it drift but the stick was actually stuck in those positions.I like the idea of the extra buttons on the back of the controller however I found myself accidentally pressing them all the time due to their location within the grip itself so if you are a person who holds tight on these controllers or you play something that's intense, you will accidentally press these buttons all the time, like me. The inclusion of a basic start guide is helpful and explains all these features clearly. The controller is thicker than a PS5 controller — reminds me of an Xbox controller. It did take some time to get used to the size difference; was comfortable once I found my rhythm when playing. While it does not have some aspects of a PS5 controller due to licensing, it overall feels great and it’s easy to use right off the box. However, when playing wirelessly I found myself having to charge the controller after 1-2 game session (session average of 2-3 hours), I don’t have a problem since I played on my PC/PS5 which is nearby so switching to wired was not a problem. But other than that I feel like this controller is probably one of the best ones out there on the market right now.
