Rheem has been producing hot water systems in Australia since the late 1930s. For decades, Australians have relied on Rheem to ensure every shower and tap consistently provides the hot water they need. A continuous flow hot water system will ensure you never run out of water supply. Additionally, this system doesn’t need to store hot water so you don’t need to install a bulky hot water tank. This allows for flexibility, giving you more options for installation locations.

Just purchased after comparing a few models. Burner heats up in stages if running water for longer than 15 or so seconds, minimising use of gas. Requires only 20+ watts of electricity to ignite the burner therefore no more high use for off peak rate. As we live in a cold climate area, we opted for the 60 degree unit, however plumbing code only allows up 50 degree, so there a some reserve. But also, that the 60 degree unit can be connected inline with solar, should we upgrade to that. This unit replaced a tank service that only lasted 7 years. Outlay to purchase and install was high but will see a return on investment over a few months. Note: We swapped this natural gas unit to LPG due to incorrectly ordering.

This is a great hot water service for heating cold water!! Note it does use a lot of gas to do so. You’ll need a dual stage reg at 200mj and 1/4 inch pipe to allow enough gas flow. But it will be the best shower ever!!!

We used this to replace a Rheem Integrity instant hot water unit that stopped working after almost 15 years. Good instant hot water, but will give someone a jolt in the shower if you turn on the hot water tap somewhere else. It has good water saving, it drops the pressure while it starts to heat up and then as the water is hot, it increases the pressure back on the line. The first time it happened, it was a bit of a surprise but this is great because it doesn't waste water while it's getting to temperature. Since it was a replacement of a similar unit, it even used the same mounting hardware/holes. As always, Appliances Online for the win again.

Had one of these for about a year now. Works well, no major fluctuations like the cheap ones and much better on gas than the old school ones. Good price.
Main circuit board failed after just 2 days. Blackened circuit board and melted components. Replacement circuit board is more than half the cost of a new one. Will never rely on this brand ever again.
Had to replace a leaking electric hot water tank which we rarely use. Decided to buy a continuous gas system just for a kitchen. I bought the Rheem 50 deg C version which was a mistake as the water isn't quite hi I to enough for typical kitchen grease. My fault as my plumber advised the 60 Deg C version but AOL didn't have any stock. Still we go have hot water
We freeze where we live and its hard enough getting my old Dad in the shower but now after installing this system he has a chair in there. This is after installing two other systems previously. Those two units had better specs than this one and didn't perform. We highly recommend it and hope it lasts now because we couldn't be without it. Cheers Dan
The closer the tap is the better the hot water, however those further away it can take almost 2 minutes before the water heats up. Lots of wasted water.
Thank you for the service of click and collect in our isolated area for the new HWS which is perfect for our system and much better than the previous 12 litre unit when the water temperature gets cold. While it requires an electric 240v ignition, than the previous strike ignition, you can be sure that it will start each time.
Rheem 60* 874 works good. Back in the old days, during the 90, I still remember, that i had used the gas water heater. Its used to have pilot light and when hot water turn on, the gas ignites pilot light then heat up the water. No electrical use. Rheem, now they put a cooling fan it cool the heat exchanger down. So, the water does NOT go hot like before. Rheem said that is safety features. But it not. They trying to protect their product from breaking down. Back in the old days. Customer just remember that, the 876 and 874 is only good for shower used. Its only good for 1 bathroom per unit. So, if your house have 4 bathroom and 2 kitchen. Your probably need at least 5 water heater. Single use only. Not good for 2. Not for cleaning. Not for simultaneous used.
