I have the 2500 Sunseeker awning mounted on my van about 6' of the ground. As a 5' tall woman I am able to set up and take dawn this awning solo without much difficulty. The awning is sturdy enough that I don’t bother with the staking it down unless there is going to be more an 15mph winds. In the rain I just lower one corner and have no problems with rain collecting where it shouldn’t.

Awesome awning, easy to put together by yourself, but easier with two people putting it back in the case. I accidentally broke a hinge the first day lowering the awning too low, passing the breaking point of the hinge. Replacement hinges are easily attainable through the manufacturer or other authorized retailers. I would recommend this awning to anybody, just make sure you read the instructions and make sure you have the correct mounts for the rack system you have. I knew going in I was going to make custom mounting system to fit my Subaru Outback tie down points.

I have the 2500 Sunseeker awning mounted on my van about 6' of the ground. As a 5' tall woman I am able to set up and take dawn this awning solo without much difficulty. The awning is sturdy enough that I don’t bother with the staking it down unless there is going to be more an 15mph winds. In the rain I just lower one corner and have no problems with rain collecting where it shouldn’t.

Just returned from a week long excursion down our national seashore and this awning was a shinning star at making mid-day bearable.With temps rising in to the 90’s and high humidity, this bit of equipment was as important as the water we carried.Setup is easy enough for one person and setting guy lines is a must in windy conditions.The only reason for the four star review was during take down one of the awning support pole’s cam jammed and took several tries at unlocking it.Otherwise, amazing and well worth it.
Great quality product with easy to follow mounting instructions. It fit onto my Thule racks literally in minutes & set up in minutes more. Postage from A1 Roofracks was super fast too.The only thing I would recommend would be a couple of substantial pegs for setting up in sand or softer ground but were talking just a couple of bucks.
I was led to believe that this product came with the bracket kit. Not so. Have to purchase separately
Good instructions, easy to set up, only took me 20 minutes to set up on my own from unpacking to wiping off my fingerprints, also very quick and simple to pull out to set up and use, not much effort required to repack either, great unit.

Easy install considering it was mounted on Rhino rack pioneer platform. So there was no need to get creative. It's easier if 2 people deploy and stow it, but you can do it by yourself it need be. I would recommend this item.
It was super easy to install! Ive got a rhino rack roof rack so it looks extra chic! It would work with many rack systems. Its adjustable. The quality is great! I can fully deploy in under 5 minutes. Takedown takes a smidge longer about 7 minutes. I did watch a YouTube video before I purchased to see how easy it is to put up and take down. That was super helpful. I would recommend doing that.
