Easy to set up and use.Recommend lubricating support pole adjusting mechanisms with WD40 and making sure pole is clean before collapsing. Don’t overtighten mechanisms or they will jam.

Bought this to get our large canoe on the roof rack. Nearly injured myself (and the canoe) as the vertical support pole collapsed. Tried it every which way but it doesn't support 5Kg let alone the promised 60Kgs. We used a camping pole from the shed and it worked fine. The side loader itself is a great design and well made. I don't know why Rhino Rack have used such a cheap, nasty pole.
I bought the Rhino rack hoping to use it single handed to get my kayak onto my car racks.I am 5’2” and do mot have really strong shoulders. He Rhino rack attached to your car rack makes it pretty high. It was too high for me to lift even the front of the kayak up that high by myself. I returned it for another device to assist me.
After watching all the videos I thought this was the best way to load a kayak by yourself. Its very helpful but 1) the rot that extends needs to be longer 2) the part that supposed to connect together isnt working on mine. I figured out how to extent it more and found a way to connect it together without it falling apart. The idea Is great, I expected a better construction (peaces that supposed to fit together) to be better quality for the price.
Simple, effective and compact to carry. Only needed some spacers to raise my HD bars a bit more above the vehicle roof. Doesnt take long to work out the loading method, even on a fairly high 4x4.
Worked perfectly straight out of the box! Made getting my 25kg kayak on the car super easy!
Works very well right out of the box. I could alone easily load 16 feet canoe and 14 feet kayak on the roof rack of my truck. Great product.
Fantastic product. Well designed and built. My kayak is very heavy and this product supports it very well.
