The 53mm works well with my Breville Barista Express! Feels nicely weighted and durable. This is certainly a much needed improvement to the small, light, plastic tamper that is provided with the machine. A really nice tamper that won't break the bank!

Works great with the 18g vst ridge less basket. My previous tamper was 58mm and that required tamping multiple times. Seems well made, no complaints there, thought i had to reassemble it because the screw connecting the handle and the tamper was loose.
Absolutely love this tamper - heavy, attractive and perfectly-sized, it has really improved my coffee making in terms of results (less channeling from a 'halo' around the puck), and more of a pleasant and quicker prep process. The significant weight of this tamper means less effort needs to be made to balance the tamper and press down. I absolutely love it and will likely never replace it ever again!
Arrived quickly and nicely packaged. The tamper has a lovely heft to it, and it fits perfectly in my Breville Bambino's filter basket, which is somewhat difficult to find in a good tamper due to the nonstandard size of Breville's portafilters. The quality is a great improvement for me, and I think the price point is quite reasonable, so I'm very happy I purchased it.
Bought the black one as it match's the coffee machine and accessories nicely. It has a good weight and feel and performs very well. Grinds don't stick to the bottom when tamping, I give it a turn when applying the pressure. Great price, no need to spend anymore.
This is a high quality tamper that will not wear out. The tamper metal goes through entire handle so there is no flex when using it. The tamper also looks stylish on the counter.I ordered the 53mm version and it perfectly fits my Saeco portafilter.Great product. Thanks!
I bought the 58.1mm size. This tamper is a great value and measured at just about 58.41mm on my vernier calipers. The .01mm is probably within the margin of error.
solid metal tamper, a nice upgrade from the plastic ones you get from breville. does the job and the 500g weight makes it easier to tamper without me having to put my whole weight on it.
