Ribena Blackcurrant Fruit Drink 2.4L

Nice little 500ml bottles fits perfectly in a bag pack on your way out or while driving a car. Simple and clear design witch I like . Unfortunately blackcurrant juice drink is way too sweet for me and all I could feel while drinking is just sugar and glucose. After having a zip I still felt thirsty. Of course my 2 childrens loved this juice drink and could finish one bottle in no time. I try to limit this juice drink as too much sugar is not good for them, but they do get it from time to time as a treat

A refreshing pop

Ribena Sparkling Raspberry 2 LitreI had to try this the newest addition to the Ribena family - Ribena Sparkling Raspberry. A Sparkling Raspberry Carbonated Water and Juice Drink with Sugar and Sweeteners. Something different from the traditional offerings from Ribena, used to the squashes and juices, this made a nice refreshing change. Especially now the weather is getting warmer, this lighter flavored drink is great and is not too sweet and pretty healthy too. Highly recommended.

Delicious

This Ribena drink comes in a pack of 4 100% recycled plastic bottles which are 500ml each.The bottles are well designed in that the top half is slightly bigger than the bottom which makes it easier to hold when drinking.The taste is lovely and refreshing particularly when just taken out of the fridge. It has a strong flavour of blackcurrant but is not overly sweet.Normally I can’t finish big bottles however this one is very easy to drink – particularly as the texture is so smooth.Well recommended.

It’s Part of the Family!

I have drunk Ribena all my life. So much so that it is always in the cupboard and has become part of the family. I find it quite nostalgic when I drink it reminding me drinking it as a kid with friends and family.I was delighted when they brought out the concentrated no sugar added version as at the time I was told I had to reduce my sugar intake and Ribena would have been one of the things to give up.Although the taste is the same I do find I have to use a little bit more to get the full blackcurrant flavour. It’s a great cool drink on a hot sunny day. Love it!

Refreshing fruity flavour

The big bottle is great for keeping families quenched for longer. Made from British blackcurrants, this has no added sugar and lots of flavour. You don't need to use much to get a refreshing fruity drink, and you could freeze it in moulds to make ice lollies. The bottle has a slightly blueish tint, possibly something to do with it being made from 100% recycled plastic, but the liquid it contains is the recognisable Ribena colour. Despite being such a large bottle, I found it easy enough to pour and the design of the top of the bottle makes it almost drip free.

Refreshing taste.

I love ribena but haven't tried the sparkling version. I actually thought I would not like it. I love the cordial version and it's a firm favourite in our house. I don't think I would of purchased these whilst shopping so I'm greatful I got to try them. Love the can formula. Easy to take out and about with you or keep in the fridge if you want it chilled.The taste is incredible. Fizzy blackcurrant but you can taste every drop of blackcurrant. Absolutely love the taste. Doesn't give an unpleasant aftertaste like some canned drinks. The household was impressed.

Same great taste as ever!

I haven't had Ribena from a carton in years, and so when I went to try it again I was instantly taken back to my childhood and reminded of just how much I loved it. With some drinks these days, they just don't taste the same as they did when you were a child, but Ribena certainly lives up to the nostalgia! My first thoughts of Ribena was of my childhood and loving having carton after carton. But now getting a carton out of the fridge, icey cold, and sipping at it; you realise how complex a taste it contains. The tang and tartness is incredibly refreshing, balanced against just enough natural sweetness which rounds out the drink perfectly. It's not too sweet at all, and actually has a lot of depth to it.The high quality of the juice makes this a great value drink, and something I will happily start buying again and again. Squeezed into a wine glass, it would even make a great non alcoholic substitute for those people who don't drink, or are taking a break from it. It has enough depth and complexity to stand up to a range of rich foods which makes it excellent to use in pairing drink with food.If you're like me and you want a true blackcurrant tasting, rich, and flavoursome drink then, you will absolutely love Ribena. It brought back memories of my childhood, yet gave me a new appreciation for how complex and grownup a drink it can be too!

Too sweet for us!

As a family we consistently buy squash to drink because it lasts quite a while depending on how strong you like your drink - I prefer it quite weak with just a hint of taste whereas other family members prefer it a tad stronger. Unfortunately this Ribena Concentrate is just way to sweet even if I just put a dash of it into a glass of water. I didn't even need to open the bottle first before that 'Ribena smell' set me in edge haha! You know that feeling where your teeth feel crumbly and gritty after consuming something sweet? That's the feeling I mean.As I said a bottle of squash for us can last week's sometimes because a little goes a long way and especially with a 1.5 litre bottle. So if you have quite a sweet tooth this product is for you, if not seek elsewhere.

Very tasty

I have only ever tried Ribena in juice form so was intrigued by this. You get 6 cans in the pack, which are a decent size and easy to hold.The can is easy to open and pour. I put mine into a pint glass. The flavour is really nice, it’s stronger than I expected but not in a bad way, it’s very enjoyable. It’s very fuzzy as well which I really like.This is a great pack, there is enough for all the family, it’s very refreshing and enjoyable and it’s something that can have on the go. I would definitely get this again and would recommend.

I was given this to review. I dont usually have carbonated drinks, only fizzy water. Having tasted this, wow, its changed my opinion. The full body of flavour, being delicious raspberry and not too weak and diluted and not too fizzy, but fizzy enough, is so thirst quenching. It keeps well in the fridge and with the cap tight does not lose its fizz. At the moment its on a great offer also with Ocado so really worth giving it a try, I wouldnt think you would be disappointed and would be most likely to buy this again, especially at the moment. Thank you Ocado you have converted me.
