blood and bone is great fro many plants in the beginning of spring. It has 8% Nitrogen which is good for green growth but low in phosphorus and potassium. 1% is phosphorus and potassium is very low to help producing flowers and fruit.I add phosphorus and potassium to blood and bone so my NPK ratio is 5.10.10.5 when many plants start to fruit you need more phosphorus and potassium so blood so blood and bone is only good for boosting the plant in the growing stages.

Only half would dissolve in tubs of water and what was left - roughly a third - was sand.Absolute rip off.

It's blood and bone, pretty simple, the potash will leave the soil pretty quick though. Fair warning, your dog will want to eat it, don't let him.

Great for the garden - HORRIBLE for flies. As soon as this goes down if you don't mix it through or cover it with mulch the flys LOVE it... And so do the plants. Unless you want swarms of flies all through your yard cover or mix this in well.
Perfect for my fruits and vegetables especially my citrus trees. They were in poor condition and are now extremely healthy
The smell is not that bad and it will go away shortly. Love how it helps our plants grow stronger and taller.
Terrible packaging. By the time I arrived home with two 5kg bags thay had leaked out all over my car boot.
Make sure you read the instructions carefully! If you do it works a treat! My lawns are looking amazing!!
Have been using this early spring every year. Provides a great support to my spring flowers, more blooms, healthier and longer flower stems. Also helps multiply the bulbs underneath while idle.
Easy to use and the smell isn't too disgusting. I am working on regenerating some degraded garden areas so need to incorporate a variety of organic matter into the soil. I bought the 5kg size to trial. It's likely I will purchase the larger size in future.
