The butane bottles are cheap to buy and it uses very little gas. Only thing that I can fault are the latches on the carry case, very flimsy and they fall off.

Namely, the slide on clips, holding the case closed, already broke off very easily from the actual case. Apart from that the actual item is great.

We went early morning and was going to use the electric BBQ's at the park for Brekky. Didn't realise how many grub use these and can't be bothered cleaning them. We decided to try one of these. Love it. heats up in no time and when cooking you actually have to turn it down. Gets hot and stays hot. Now all we have to do is find somewhere to sit it on and away we go.
Best camping item I have bought in a long time. We don't have to cart a traditional style BBQ and large gas bottle with us anymore as this camp stove is a ripper. It cooks a considerable amount of food ( we comfortably fitted 1kg of sausages on it) and cooks evenly across the plate. We took 6 extra butane refills but only needed to change the canisters once and we used it every day for five days for three meals a day. Considering buying the lidded version as well. The only thing it could do with is a wrap around splash back.

I got it on special, along with some gas cannisters.After using it on the trip I can't be happier!The cooking area is HUGE! I think I only had both burners on once during the trip!!! It handled everything with ease....sausages, onions, French toast!!! When I took the hotplate off to use a wok the heat transfer was excellent and my taco mince cooked beautifully. Water and milk could be heated in a pot easily this way too.Cleaning was a cinch! Just let the plate cool and wipe it down!!! The meals I used it for did not require a huge amount of cooking finesse, so I turned it up when I needed heat and down when I didn't!!!Look for it on special and you won't be disappointed I'd say, as long as you match it to your expectations.... It's not a restaurant grill, so don't expect that sort of performance!! BBQs, meats, cooking with a pan or pot are all totally within this unit's range!!!
Such a simple cooker. Heats nice and even and packs away into the tidy, compact container easily (including the hot plate). Much simpler than lugging big gas bottles/bbq's around camping.
I was looking for a lightweight option, I recently decided to pick up one of these to save some weight. I have been impressed on use, the burner stays alight in moderate wind conditions (Can be aided by a deflector) The all in one setup (having the grill tray) is makes camp cooking easy the plate is thin, but this means it heats up fast. I seasoned it and cook on a med-high heat to prevent and warping. This is an excellent easy alternative from the traditional gas cooker and heavy gas bottle. Would recommend.
I love this product, and have used it a lot since purchase. The only thing is that the 'built in' burner wind shields aren't very effective and it definitely needs a supplied windshield to go around the stove. I tried to purchase one of the same brand as the stove but they only have them for single burner stoves. If i had a preference, a generous sized windshield would have been better than the large hot plate which I haven't used at all. If it came with a windshield, i would have given it 5 stars!
Bought it for our road trip up north, used it a few times but one of the gas knobs started to fail. You had to force it shut as it would get stuck just before you were able to fully turn it off. Supercheap were good and they ended up giving me a refund as there was none in stock to replace. I would have got another one if they had one, I did like the cooking plate, easy to clean and you could cook for an army on this. Even though it did have windbreakers on the burners I found that it still struggled in the breeze. If I get another one of these I would make a windbreaker for it. Running a butane stove is a lot more expensive than your normal gas stoves but I have not found a gas stove for camping that can cook on low heat or has an easily controllable flame.
