I've been using the RIG 300 PRO for about a week now, and I have to admit they sound better than my "TB" (major brand) headset. The RIG just has cleaner, more natural sound. The best part is that they come with a one-year subscription to Dolby Atmos, which simulates 3D surround sound for video games and movies - even above and below you. I have an Xbox Series X, and the effect is more pronounced for some games than others but still enjoyable. I haven't tried it with movies yet, but I've read that Atmos is now the leading 3D audio encoding compared to similar encodings by DTS and Microsoft. The construction feels a little cheap compared to other gaming headsets, but they are very lightweight. The adjustment is kinda weird though. Instead of the standard pull-to-expand mechanism, there are three notches on each side of the headpiece where you can snap in the earpieces. I guess this means it supports small, medium, and "large" heads. But I doubt this will be comfortable for people with large heads. I'm an adult male with a comparatively small head, and I still needed to use the middle settings. PROS: * Crisp, natural sound * Comes with a code that grants one year of access to Dolby Atmos * Good 3D sound placement with Dolby Atmos * Doesn't require batteries or charging CONS: * Doesn't seem very sturdy compared to other headsets on the market * Only 3 size settings, probably not good for large heads

The rig 300 Pro gaming headset is good for the price. If you need something basic with good sound quality and versatile capability but you are on a budget, then this is the one for you. It may not be the best of the best with the purest quality but again it does the job and works well if you're not picky and you're on a budget. I would call it the beginner and or intermediate headset. Noise cancellation good, sound quality good, clear and easy to use. It may not be the best of the best but it is worth it. It is also durable. Very lightweight. If anything I would say that the clarity and noise cancellation would need some work if they were trying to compete with the higher price competitors. For the price it's at I wouldn't change a thing. Would recommend, especially ... MoreThe rig 300 Pro gaming headset is good for the price. Have a slight issue with fuzziness on my Xbox controller.

I got the RIG 300 PRO for my Tween, because he needed a pair of gaming headphones. So far, he loves these headphones! For starters, he really loves how comfortable these headphones are. They have thick padding both for the headframe and around the speakers. Though the headphones don't have active noise cancelling, the earcups are large enough to cancel noises, as they envelope your ears. The sound quality of the headphones is also pretty decent too. The jack included, is compatible not only with my son's nintendo switch, but with a few of our other devices too. That is nice, because now he only needs 1 pair of headphones for all the devices we often travel with. His favorite feature though, is the flip up microphone. In spite of this, these are great headphones for beginner gamers.

Very well designed headphones and insanely comfortable. I like the design they have in place to adjust the size. Instead of the usual pull up and down they have rings essentially where you can remove the headphone art move the notches up or down to adjust the size. Makes for easy storage and transport if needed. These are comfortable both with my glasses on or if I’m wearing my contacts. Usually headphones dig my glasses into my ears and this causes some discomfort after a time but not with these. The sound quality and noise cancelling is quite good and easy adjusted by the dial on the side which is nice touch. The microphone works well with good sound quality and the toggle on the side of the cord to turn off and on is a nice feature. Hello I'm senpai from MySenpaiTTV on the twitch platform and today I'm going to be reviewing the RIG 300 PRO headset. The sound of the headset is pretty good and it's even better when you activate the Adobe 360° surround sound. The added adjustments to your head is a must and I found it to fit pretty snug. Taking it from me a twitch streamer that wears a headset for hours on end comfort is in must!!! So a headset for a budget can't complain. Comparing it to other headsets that I will not be naming it does pretty well. The connection was quick and simple. The clarity of my voice and volume of it was perfect. And the sporty looking design was a plus. The only negative thing is that I do not like how you have to remove the earbud to adjust to the size of your head. ... MoreHello I'm senpai from MySenpaiTTV on the twitch platform and today I'm going to be reviewing the RIG 300 PRO headset. My son was looking for new headphones for gaming on his PC since his other ones were a bit heavy and bulky. These are super lightweight and fit perfectly over his ears. He said they were a lot more comfortable and drowned out the background noise of my TV better. The headset comes with the earpiece unattached so you can fit up to 3 different sizes and click the earpieces to the band (as pictured). It doesn't have the moving adjustments that a lot of other headsets have but I think with this stationary adjustment, it stays on his head a lot better and he's a super animated gamer. The cord seems a little shorter than other ones because my son will sometimes stand up to play but with these, it doesn't give as much slack for that so he has to sit to play the whole time. ... MoreMy son was looking for new headphones for gaming on his PC since his other ones were a bit heavy and bulky. I don't know how well the mic works yet because we don't allow him to talk to anyone on the games. Overall, this works for us with it being lightweight and comfortable for long gaming sessions. So far he seems to enjoy it!
I never understood why people used gaming headsets. I thought they would be uncomfortable and distracting. I decided to give this RIG 300 A try because it really looked very attractive and I felt like the ergonomically‘s would be a good match. The item came in very thoughtful packaging which was easy to open and get the product out of and also just made the look of a premier product. The instructions were very well written and it was extremely easy to connect the headset to my Xbox. By the way, I saw the value in a gaming headset but after using it for a while I realized that not only was it incredibly comfortable and extremely economic, the quality of the product made the gaming experience so much more immersive. By the way, I saw the value in a gaming headset but after using it for a while I realized that not only was it incredibly comfortable and extremely economic, the quality of the product made the gaming experience so much more immersive. The sound quality feels like something that would cost 10 times the amount (I have $300 headphones that can only be used for music that sound virtually the same as this gaming headset) and feel like this headset would also double very well as a hands-free device for a phone. Aside from the high quality of the audio, the microphone quality is superb. I actually used it on a zoom call and other participants commented how crisp and professional the audio sounded because most people are used to using a cheap microphone that is integrated in their computer, but we’re surprised at the broadcast quality of this microphone. I highly recommend this product and will definitely purchase more products from this company because high-quality is never a mistake it is a commitment that a company makes and it always stretches to that companies full product line
You do have to assemble them, which is surprising. I've never had a pair of headphones that didn't come pre-assembled. The plastic headband itself is pretty thin, and I wouldn't be surprised if the durability doesn't hold out for long. Instead of an adjustable slide, there's spots on the side that you can unattach the ear parts to make the headband longer or shorter. I definitely prefer the ability to slide because my more comfortable fit would be between two of the brackets. The speakers itself feel kind of small, but they don't bother my earrings, which is good. Plugging it into my PC immediately only worked with the Left side for audio. I had to adjust the plug to get it to work on both sides. My PC is built and new, so it's not that. The audio also is not even ... MoreYou do have to assemble them, which is surprising. There's too many downsides that I can't look past.
The RIG 300 Pro gaming headset is a stylish, comfortable, and quality headset. Upon unpacking the headset, you will notice that the ear cups are detached which might catch you off guard. Most headsets have the sliding adjustment option. You simply snap these into headband at the desired slot depending on your head size. This is actually a pretty cool feature as you don't have to worry about them sliding and changing sizes after you set them. The headset features a sliding volume button as well as a short microphone that flips up and down. The cushion on the headband also detaches for cleaning. These also work well for video calls as well as music and come with a 1 year free Dolby Atmos 3D audio for gaming. Even with the shorter microphone, the mic quality is good and I haven't had any issues communicating in games or on video calls. The only downside to the RIG 300 Pro may be the length of the cable. This hasn't been an issue but the cable length is shorter than what I am accustomed to.
I do quite a lot of gaming. I own a Xbox series X, PlayStation five, Nintendo switch, and gaming PC. I am currently playing ghost of Tsushima on PS5 so I went ahead and tried these out as headphones first for that game, and of course the first thing I notice is that the Dolby Atmos is not compatible with the PS5 hardware, hahaha, of course! Well i tried it out anyways and honestly they still sounded great, I really don’t feel like I am missing out on anything. I also have a really large head so it is sometimes hard to find comfortable headphones, but these were very comfy! And lastly I am loving the wired headphones, my last set was bluetooth, but with so many different systems, it became annoying to manage and problematic. At first I was like, wired, what is this, the 90’s?! But this is way different than a controller wire snaking across your living room, the controller is already right there in your lap so connecting it to your headphones is super easy. No connection problems, just works clearly and seamlessly every time. I would highly recommend!
