Open earcups prevent overheating earlobes lol.. sound is insanely well balanced so much so that you cannot hear much (even with the open cups in terms of ambient noise) around you , love the flip up mic when not chatting and the quick and easy mute button & volume button and they are super light! Bought three more pairs for my kids and they love them just as much! I have the Rig 700's too and hardly use them anymore.

owned these for almost 3 years and still run great!! Extremely Comfortable and lightweight meaning there is no strain on your head or ears after long gaming sessions. Audio is quite transparent which is good for people who like to be spatially aware. Mic quality has slowly deteriorated overtime which is expected after three years of use so I am looking to upgrade.I would recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic budget headset.

I have owned a few cheap PS4 gaming headsets over the past few years, but each one has been terrible overall, however, with the RIG 300HS I have actually found a headset I enjoy using with my PS4.One thing I love about it is just how comfortable it is. The padding around each earcup is lovely and thick, which is important for those long gaming sessions.I find the adjustment method to be 50/50. Adjusting the headset is easy, you simply clip each ear peice into one of the three holes on the sides of the headset. Unfortunately though this is more effort than a traditional headset, where the adjusting is done automatically.The built-in cable is plenty long enough to reach the bottom of the controller with no issues. Headset audio became staticky within a few months of light gaming. Could not take advantage of warranty because I threw out the box. Make sure to keep the box if you buy don’t want to lose out.
As someone who games, I do not recommend this headset. They are comfy but the sound quality is horrible and it's overall bad. If your looking for a headset get one that is made by the same company as what you game with. (playstation, apple, Xbox, ect.
It fits rather comfortably and has good enough quality audio.However the sensitvity on mic is WAY too sensitive. Immediately my friends in the voice chat could hear every bit of sound and even heard a crackling-like noise from my mic.
Ok when you use these for the first time the volume is very,very faint. So I gave them a bad review and boxed them up. After awhile I thought no way did that many people give dishonest reviews so I went online to trouble shoot. There online was the answer. So now I would give this headset 4 stars for them alone and another star for only being $29. That makes them a 5 star headset!
Great Product.I have not used many gaming headsets, but I have to say these are very good.From the rather exciting and impressive packaging I could tell these were going to be good and they genuinely are.Un-boxing and assembly was very simple and these were ready to use in no time at all.Once plugged into the controller I made a few adjustments on the ps4 and I had audio through them which was impressive.The in-line volume and microphone mute functions are good and I like the fact that when the volume is low you can hear what's going on around you, but once you turn up the volume you can drown it out and immerse yourself in the game.The boom mike is very flexible and adjusts easily and sound quality is good with no distortion that I could tell.
