Rigo Kids Pedal Ride On Go Kart Car (Pink)

On recieving the go-karts we were pleased with our purchases. Relatively easy to assemble and happy that the pedals could be engaged and disengaged. However one of the tubes in one bike had a hole in it and wouldn't stay inflated ( Christmas Eve anxiety! New tube had to be purchased and fitted so gifting of the kart could go ahead!) Unfortunately within an hour of our 5 year old grandson pedally his kart, a front axle broke! Disappointment all round!

Bad experience

I have two boys of age 7 and 10, ordered one of this Go Kart online and received yesterday, boys liked it and asked they need another one so they can ride together so i ordered the second one as well. However after a couple of hour of usage we found the pedals were not functional anymore because its chain was down. I opened the boxes, and fixed the chain. Once again after an hour the chain is down again. It may be a loose chain but this means the boys are not able to use it anymore and i need to fix the chain every hour. Its a real bad experience, we have already ordered the second one and the ordered cannot be cancelled. After reading the return policy, i am not sure if this thing can be returned as well because of its weight/size. Do not buy.

Poor design and low quality build. The chain is too big and always comes loose. The pedal only rotates one of the back wheels as well. My child was really disappointed for christmas. It’s been more than a week since I submitted a complaint and refund request and still no reply.

Fabulous

Super go kart. My kids have just loved it. It's pretty sturdy. Easy to put together. It has in gear for pedalling and neutral so the pedals don't move when the kart goes (great doe rolling down hills). My 8.5 and 6 year old just love it. It's perfect size for them. My eldest will get at least another year or more out of it. I wish it came with spare break pads but that's OK it's still super awesome.

Great little kart

Bought this kart to teach my daughter how to pedal.It is amazing and well constructed.It has two gear functions which are good and bad at the same time.When gear/drive is moved to off, the pedals will no longer be engaged and the kart is free to roll down a hill without the pedals constantly spinning.If the gear/drive is on, the pedals will constantly rotate with the motion of the wheels. This forces the user keep their feet on the pedals at all times.Not a bad function. It was just an adjustment for my children.

Mostly great and sturdy construction except for the steering

My 3 year old rode this about 10 meters before it broke. The welds on the rack and pinion steering plate snapped clean off separating the loop from the bar. One looked like it was welded after painting so it could have been a defect. I fixed this by drilling a hole through and using the extra bolts, nuts, and washers that came with the toy. I highly recommend this design improvement to make the go-kart bullet proof. It's really great otherwise.

The cart is great for the price and my little boy loves it but putting it together was a nightmare. 2 obvious frame holes on the cart body had been stamped but not drilled in the factory and had to drilled by my husband, the steering wheel was almost impossible to put on and the instructions were pretty poor.

No instructions to assemble it? And can not do the steering wheel properly - to assemble it? So disapointed can not believe it does not come with any instruction manual or paperwork!Very disapointed- also the seat is of cheap plastic which i would think could easily break-

Terrible design

Rubbish quality. No tensioner on the chain means it constantly comes off and you've then got 5 screws on the cover to access and refit the chain. This means your child will ask you almost every day to fix the kart. Do not buy.

Terrible quality

We purchased this go kart for my sons 4th bday and we’re really excited to receive it but we were so disappointed. The go kart is really terrible quality and is so difficult to even turn the pedals. I thought it might be that my son was not be quite strong enough but we had lots of kids over for his bday party of all various ages and they all struggled to ride it, even on a smooth flat surface.
