Rimmel London Multi-Tasker Concealer 045 Classic Ivory

From beginning to end I am impressed with this concealer. The size of it was unexpected, you are definitely getting your money’s worth. The applicator is a nice, plush size as well. On my first use I did very generous swipes of concealer which was a learning lesson. Since this is a multitasker it is slightly thicker in consistency. Meaning that a little goes a long way. I had to start over, but now I know. With that being said the coverage is great, and gives a smooth complexion. Another thing I realized is how fast drying it is. Which is why it is so good at being non transferable (your clothes are safe from your makeup). What I do is blend as I go. I used this with and without color correcting to test coverage. I have pretty noticeable dark circles and skin texture. Both wears I found the coverage to be good. The color Light 30 was a bit light for me but I made it work under my foundation. Being a full coverage concealer it definitely did accentuate creasing. I wore it on a hot day and it did hold up really well to sweat! I think if you have pretty smooth skin and don’t suffer with texture and discoloration this would be a great full coverage concealer. Overall I would keep using and is a great drugstore find. I tried this on my tattoo and after it was blended out and dried-the coverage was great, but you can see how it settled into the lines.

I’d be the first to admit that I’ve never really got into Rimmel London products. The Rimmel London “The Multi-Tasker” Concealer… this is HOLY GRAIL WORTHY product… I mean it. It doesn’t crease, get cakey, move, blends nicely (but you gotta work in sections and fast, dries quickly) and doesn’t budge for hours. I literally do not for 1 moment have to touch up my makeup. It’s amazing and I’m the girly pop who puts makeup on and carries around make up to touch up and never do. I now never feel like I need to because my makeup never looks gross or breaks up after a few hours. I received this product for free from Influenster and Rimmel in exchange for my honest review. I opened the package and found a full size concealer made by Rimmel. The color I received was Honey 70. Opening it up, the wand had a nice sized head to spread the concealer in the areas that I wanted. I used it under my eyes, which were darker than usual after just getting over the flu this past week. It went on smooth and it wasn’t thick which I liked. Using my sponge, it spread nice and evenly under my eyes and covered well…I think I chose a color a little darker than I would normally get so it did not cover as well as it would have if I had gotten a shade lighter, but it did the job well. I really enjoyed this concealer and been looking for a new go to that has full coverage. Very full coverage concealer and easy for me to blend. It wore pretty well on my under eyes throughout the day and paired well with my huda beauty setting powder leaving little to no creases under the eye. The concealer is pretty mattifying so I wouldn’t wear it alone on a “no makeup, makeup” day but definitely will keep this in rotation on my full face days when I want a full coverage beat. The best thing about this concealer is that it is multi usage so you can use it as concealer, contour, and highlight when you have multiple shades! I was given the perfect shade to help brighten my under eyes. By no means am I “makeup girlie”. My daily routine is concealer on blemishes(occasionally under eyes), setting powder, and mascara. I thought this formula was thick when I first put it on my face, but when I blended it out with my fingers, it kind of sheered out. I put it over one blemish and it didn’t really conceal it (I applied twice). It immediately looked dry and flaky over the blemish. I decided to put it under my eyes and it immediately looked dry and pilled up. I had no skincare prep on so I tried again it looked a little more hydrated. So I would make sure you prep ur skin before using this concealer. I also put powder on and it helped a little bit I still feel like it could be more hydrating. I’m on the hunt for a new concealer, but this one missed the mark for me. I am usually a light/neutral but this shade was much too light and cool for my skin tone and gave me a gray cast instead of covering my dark circles. (maybe a light in other undertones would have been better?) Additionally, given the under eye is so fragile, I want anything around my eye to go on smoothly but the thickness of the product made it hard to blend without tugging—especially with dots from such a big applicator! It just felt very heavy and I didn’t really feel any of the hydration benefit (felt like it looks flaky up close). Using a moisturizer/primer under is helpful, but ultimately I’d just prefer the concealer itself to do that job when I’m in a hurry. I like that it is a buildable formula so it helps you achieve the desired coverage no matter what type of coverage you are looking for. I often wore the concealer 12+ hours a day and I didn’t have any issues with the concealer lasting that long. It is supposed to be transfer proof but I found that this wasn't completely true. I had a small issue with it transferring onto my shirt if I didn’t let it dry completely. I will definitely add this to my make-up collection and I will wear it regularly. I recommend this to everyone who is looking for a concealer that does more than conceal. This would also make a great gift.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest Influenster review. I love trying out new concealers, and it’s exciting that Rimmel came out with a new one. At first glance, the packaging makes it look like a holiday edition product because of the pretty packaging. I got the color Fair, and I would say the color is almost the perfect match for me. A tad too light, but I’m on the paler side than most and it could work well as a highlighter. The large doe foot applicator was surprising. It’s huge for a concealer. The concealer itself blends really easily into my skin and a little goes a long way with this. It’s pretty thick in consistency, so make sure to use little at a time and blend with fingers or a brush.

I applied the concealer in my trouble spots (the dark “pregnancy mask” on my forehead that is slowly fading but not fast enough for my liking) etc. after blending it in, I finished with IT cosmetics nude medium coverage cc cream, and some liquid blush. Honestly, I think maybe my CC cream covers my dark spots better, but it still works as a medium coverage-ish highlighter and concealer. I used the “fair” color but might have been better with the darker “light” color, which is why I think it’s a good highlighting color as well.
