Whilst I used to avidly support Rimmel, for 2017 (as a way to curb my excessive makeup purchasing) I decided I would try and restrict myself to only purchasing from brands that do not test on animals. Seeing as I wasn't paying for the product, I decided to give it go as i thought maybe I'm missing out from not using brands that undertake testing. This is my third colour from the liquid matte lipstick range, I use them every single day! They're great for bold looks but also more sublte or natural looks if you blend a smaller amount with a brush! I usually mix two colours together. Great texture and formula. It can stay in for over 24 hours (I've fallen asleep with makeup on a couple times 😅)

I was so excited when my parcel arrived! I love trying different products, however the name doesn't give much away. I was unsure if to expect a stain, or just a long lasting top colour. The packaging is sleek and simple, however I feel it is somewhat too simplistic to catch my eye if I were to see it in a store; I like things to pop! Opening it up with pure excitement, the brush was absolutely perfect. I love those flexible applicators as they make it so much easier to get a perfect lip line. Upon application, the product felt smooth and swiped over my lips nicely. However, the consistency was fairly runny and I did have a few transparent patches that I had to go over again with the product. The product was very transferable, and left marks on a glass and straw however the colour didn't wear off to quickly. In terms of durability, I prefer a long term lip colour that will only need one to two (max) applications per day however after 35 minutes of wearing this product, it started flaking and not only looked as though my lips were dry and peeling, but it felt horrible. The product easily wiped off with a makeup wipe and left no sign of it being there. All in All, this is a conveniently shaped and sized product and will slip into a handbag or makeup bag with little room needed. The product isn't durable and I wouldn't recommend wearing it out unless you are happy to constantly 're apply.
If you’re a coral colour lady then this lipstick is for you I’ve got many & this is definitely up there for longevity, colour & the matte look is lush. Paid over twenty pounds for certain lipsticks because of brand names yet this for under seven pounds is just as good. Definitely recommend this in coral sass to all. It’s beautiful & perfect for summer months ahead

Its a bright colour and definitely matte. But not long lasting or waterproof…. On skin patch it stayed a long while but not on lips!Useful in these reviews to say about reviewer and not just product as they both mix ! I was looking for easy appication, coverage for a good few hours, so had to last through my coffees until lunch; not be flaky, not to transfer! I normally have dry lips so it’s asking a lot from a product but I wouldn’t buy again.

I LOVE the RimmelLondon - Stay Matte liquid Lip colour! Its my absolute favorite and the only lip color I use. Since this line came out I've been a devoted user of the product. The colors are vibrant, the application is easy and smooth, the formula lasts all day- even through eating, only a light touch up, sometimes needed. My favorite shades are Heartbeat, FireStarter, Midnight, TrustYou, TuePlum ... I've noticed a decrease in product availability recently- I do hope they aren't discontinuing this line.. like I said its the only one i use with perfect shades and long lasting results!
i bought this lipstick a while back for a cosplay, and i thought it would be a nice lipstick for the price. how wrong i was. this lipstick lasts for 30 minutes at the very most. even with a good primer, it starts to crumble away and become very uncomfortable after barely a few minutes of wearing it. that "velvety finish" advertized is not comfortable on the lips. the color isn't pigmented and takes a few layers to be opaque, and it does not handle breathing and talking well, let alone eating or drinking. i have to reapply this multiple times a day if i want to wear it. at least the applicator is nice.
