of shades too. The powder really isn't pigmented in my opinion! It gets the job done setting your makeup and making your oil disappear. I am so afraid of it being

I have been using this powder for years now. I don't know that I will ever use another powder again... oily girls, this one is for you! I use transparent, but I have used a couple of shades too. The powder really isn't pigmented in my opinion! It gets the job done setting your makeup and making your oil disappear. I am so afraid of it being discontinued so I always have a back-up. I bought this powder because it's kind of a classic for those hoping to keep their skin from getting shiny. Since a lot of people had success with it, I thought I'd give it a try. The price is great with this powder and it's easily accessible. However, I just found it to be okay. I found the scent to be a bit strong and chemically and I didnt find this powder really did any better than most other powders I've used. Furthermore, I found the packaging to feel a bit flimsy and my powder kept developing hard pan that I had to scrape off. When I touched up with powder midday, it also looked quite cakey and I could visibly see powder sitting on my skin.... Show more

I tried this for the first time last night and I’m really impressed with how it set my make up and how matte my face stayed. I have an extremely oily t-zone and I sweat profusely on my nose and upper lip. I also appreciate that it didn’t change colours as it continued to absorb my natural sweat and oils throughout the evening. I think this is a great bang for your buck because for me a little went a long way. Plus, it’s not often that I do full face makeup so I don’t anticipate a repurchase any time soon. but I have broken this at least 3 times, not the best packaging... Show more

Although I always use a liquid foundation I find my pores are always open and in display and find this product to be great at hiding them. Another reason I love this product is because I don’t like to have a shine on my face so this completely illuminates the shine. It’s also a great base before contouring. And finally it’s ideal to carry in my handbag as with work I get hit a flustered a lot when stressed running about this is perfect to touch up and illuminate sweat marks/shine.... Show more

The powder is pressed very tightly and has a fine grind. On closer inspection, you can see the smallest reflective particles, but when applied, they are not noticeable. The powder has a very light and unobtrusive pleasant aroma, which is not felt on the skin.The powder has a very light and thin coverage, and does not hide serious skin imperfections in the form of redness, inflammation or enlarged pores. I apply the powder with a kabuki brush. No mask effect. The main drawback of this powder is the packaging. Thin transparent lid cracks easily. If you want to keep it in your purse, no. I keep thinking I should switch and try something else with powder, but every time I do, I find the other product is more expensive and doesn't work as well. I have super oily skin and this powder doesn't look cakey, it just covers my pores nicely and reduces shine. It also doesn't settle in fine lines. I would recommend buying a colour over the transparent powder, I use peach glow and that has quite a yellowy undertone, I might try a different colour to better suit my medium Caucasian skin tone. My only problems with this powder are the packaging and the way the powder breaks up when you reach the ridges of the pan. I have never got all the way through one without the packaging breaking and having to use sticky tape to keep it together. I've also learnt that ... This is my staple makeup bag powder for everyday wear. I have combination skin, so I need a powder that mattifies my oilier forehead and nose area but stays natural looking on my cheeks. I find this does the trick. I apply first with a large fluffy brush over my foundation, then press a lighter second layer into the oilier areas with a pad. I was sent this powder by we are eves, I have now tried it for about 1 week and I can say that it is okay. The colour match is alright but in my opinion leans a bit too peachy/pink for my skin tone, not sure if this is true with other shades. The texture is okay but not super fine on a brush. I find that I need to pass my powder brush through 4-5 times to get enough. I personally did not like the way that it set on my makeup base, it looks okay at first but only after a few minutes it starts to look cakey. One positive is that after hours of wear it doesnt really separate but I definitely doesnt stay matte. I am pretty shiny again after 2 hours or so. I also do not like the packaging, it would be better with a hinge compact. Over would I purchase this again? No, ...
