Purchased this as part of a larger move from Arlo to Ring, also bought two doorbells, and this 3 pack of Battery Stick Up Cams.Easy to set up and install - the Ring App provides awesome instructions and details on how to get these devices working well - even your grandma could figure it out.Once installed, configuring the motion zones and settings for each camera is detailed and well configured to provide high levels of coverage across a property in daylight or at night. So far battery life has been awesome, a month in an still around 70% (except for the one camera where I increased recording time to 2 mins). The app is user friendly and fairly simple, though as I've said in other reviews for doorbell, it has a couple of odd things that meant these features ... MorePurchased this as part of a larger move from Arlo to Ring, also bought two doorbells, and this 3 pack of Battery Stick Up Cams.Easy to set up and install - the Ring App provides awesome instructions and details on how to get these devices working well - even your grandma could figure it out.Once installed, configuring the motion zones and settings for each camera is detailed and well configured to provide high levels of coverage across a property in daylight or at night. So far battery life has been awesome, a month in an still around 70% (except for the one camera where I increased recording time to 2 mins). The app is user friendly and fairly simple, though as I've said in other reviews for doorbell, it has a couple of odd things that meant these features don't do what you might reasonably assume.... (1) the geofence feature, it doesn't arm or disarm any device, it just sends you a reminder to do so when you leave your property, and (2) the modes feature is weird, it is pretty customisable except for each modes actual name, and the default settings are just strange so certainly go check those. The devices themselves have a good quality of picture via the App or via the website/portal. They work well in all light conditions, and don't seem to be too terribly in terms of reflections or picking up motion when its a moving plant or a bug. The ability to highly customise the motion detection is much appreciated, as is the ability to set highly configurable motion detection zones - you can tell it to only detect people - which is great in theory, but if it's on your driveway it won't detect a car.... but that is just a minor odd thing again..... you have lots of customisability with the settings and can also have motion notifications turned off completely at various times if you wish.Overall, I'm very happy with these devices. I was replacing an Arlo system, and I am pleased I have done so. I very much recommend these devices - its just a pity Noel Leeming has so little stock most of the time.

I purchased 2 stick up cams, the Ring doorbell and the Ring chime. The stick up cams don't work. My car was stolen and the motion sensor didn't capture a thing even though the car was parked right in front of it. The chime doesn't work at all and the notifications don't come through the app until 10 mins later. Everything set up according to the instructions, the internet is working perfectly and 5g signal on my phone. There is no other reason for it to not work. $15 a month for nothing on top of the purchase price! Useless piece of rubbish. Save your money and buy something better. Not worth the money I spent. Going in the bin!

Buyer beware! Poor mountings & $150 per year plus fees!

Awful the mounting brackets on these cameras are completely useless the ones you actually need cost extra and need to be purchased separate which you can’t get from a standard retail store you can only order them online after you pay for postage. You cannot flip the image upside down if you need to mount your camera sideways all of your recordings will be sideways you have to turn your device or laptop screen sideways to view the images correctly how ridiculous. The night quality is pretty poor, I purchased a twin pack and one camera will only detect people not motion and the other camera will only detect motion not people even though the settings are identical and I have been completely reset reconfigured and they are still doing the same thing one doesn’t get any ... MoreAwful the mounting brackets on these cameras are completely useless the ones you actually need cost extra and need to be purchased separate which you can’t get from a standard retail store you can only order them online after you pay for postage. Does what it says it does
23 May 2022

The camera does what it says it does. I've had it up for about a couple of weeks and find it performs as per how I've configured it (which was easy to do in the app). I've had a couple of instances where the motion detection didn't fire when it should have, but 95% of the time it captures any motion it sees (if that's what you configure it to do). I fairly often have it complain that the connection is poor (not sure if it's meaning my phone's or the camera's connection to the internet, but the camera is very near our modem), but this just seems to affect how quickly footage loads in the app. Overall for $200 I'm glad I went with this camera to monitor our front door.

Great DIY security devices
15 January 2023

These cameras are very easy to install and wifi set up is done easily as well The app is very easy to use and the display is very clear even at night. There are a multitude of settings to allow very personalised set up and operation. I do recommend this product however I am still in the 1 month free Ring Protect phase. I understand that after 1 month a subscription is required to continue to get video recordings that can be stored, viewed and shared after the event has occurred.

Not a bad camera but I'd look elsewhere
6 August 2022

The actual quality of the camera isnt bad. But the camera requires a subscription to access all its features (stored recordings etc) and doesn't ceiling mount. So can only be side mounted or floor mounted. Seams stupid for a camera. This company do the same thing across several pieces from the range. Features you would assume to be part of the package are behind pay walls or accessory purchases to access.

Ring Stick Up Cam Battery Gen3
11 March 2023

It's a good product, but battery life isn't anywhere near as good as they say. The batteries lasted less than two months, even though a lot of things are turned off to save battery life. It is easy enough to change the battery, so not a really big deal, plus it lets you know ahead of time when the battery needs changing. I bought extra batteries so that I can change them straight away. If it was wired into the electricity, it would be a fantastic product.

They just work!
5 October 2021

I've had 2 existing ring outdoor cameras mounted outside for quite some time now..never have they missed a beat. It's the same with the 2 stick up cams I purchased a few days ago. There was no hesitancy in buying as I already know how reliable ring cameras are. The only drawback which has been mentioned in other reviews is the subscription. But it's minimal, 4 bucks per camera, but a month free when you purchase. All in all..great cameras..actually adding a 5th this afternoon..so now, instead of 3 apps that I had been using, down to one..just makes sense. If you want good security and piece of mind..you won't go wrong with ring.
