The video quality is clear even when it is foggy and I like that the audio is included and I can go back and watch prior footage. I will say the motion detection can be delayed which can be annoying as someone could easily bypass being seen. This makes it to where I would like to add on extra cameras and motion detectors as well as the flood light. Any extra security the better. I absolutely love my ring video doorbell 2. It's an absolute must have. I have multiple ring doorbells it gives me an absolute sense of relief. The video quality is absolutely amazing. Super easy to install. the battery life lost a very, very long time About over a month, the Audio clarity is amazing Honestly I have such a relief with these doorbells. I get the notifications immediately. I highly recommend using the ring doorbell 2. You can easily install it in under 5 minutes. Comes with everything that you need. It gives such a sense of comfort. I love that It has 2 way audio. Honestly Ten out of ten recommend

I really like my ring camera. I have one for the front door and back door. The front camera provides a nice level of security as I can see everything that happens on my front porch and the back door is so I can be sure my kiddo gets home safe. The camera quality is really very good and exceeds my expectations. The whole ring system sync beautifully together on my WiFi and is so easy to use. There is a subscription which seems to just be the standard for everything these days but there are at least several levels of subscription prices but I still don’t love that they won’t record unless there’s something.

I mounted it directly on the door, the only problem with that is it picks up the white trimming around the door more than anything in the dark. My solution was to put a small motion activated light under it, it allows me to see the footage alright if someone happens in the dark. Such a great price for piece of mind and for the kit you get. Really easy to install. I am not a DIY expert and it took me all of 15 mins to get it set up and another 15 min to connect it all to the app. So easy. The video quality it amazing. It really does cover more area space than I thought. So pretty much the whole front and side of the house is covered. I would suggest putting up a sign to let everyone know they could be recorded. The app allows you to see who has been near your door and to speak to people at your door if you are not in. The videos allow you to play back and if any security breaches lets you see who did it.

This product has an unbelievable battery life and it serves it's purpose well which is to provide security for my family. Easy installation took me less than 5 minutes with just a screwdriver and maybe another 5 to connect it to Echo AND Alexa. I plan on purchasing more for inside and out. Absolutely recommended. I like the picture quality, great value for money love the size, security and battery life, and the video recording. I missed the solar charger but I will be purchasing that and the chime. I love the ring doorbell and the fact standard features are included !

I bought this model of Ring Doorbell in April 2024 from Home Depot Canada.During initial setup I received an email from Ring reminding me to use the included security screws and not wood screws for the device to bracket. This email alerted to look at the security screws. I then noticed the security screws were missing from this brand new box.I called Ring to ask how to get security screws.They told me to BUY the missing screws off their website or return the device to the 3rd party seller (home depot Canada).Based on this most excellent post purchase customer service, I returned the device and our home will Never have a ring product. App deleted.

good doorbell. you can just slip out the dead battery and slip in a new one. Battery lasts for ages, you will get a good 3 weeks between battery changes. Even longer if its used less. Has good clear video even during the night or high bright sunny times. But does have this annoying round ring around the camera, like you're looking through a door viewer. I don't know why they done this. the older model doesn't have this. easy to set up and connect to net and your phone and Alexa. Bit hard to install. The screws that connect the actual door bell to its housing are tiny, maybe 5mm, then when placed inside doorbell you loose like 2.5mm so you have a minuscule amount to try and screw into the housing mount bracket, a real nightmare. oh and the other down side is you need ... Moregood doorbell. you can just slip out the dead battery and slip in a new one.
