Not recommended for 100% polyester, acrylic, acetate, fiberglass or metallic fibers, or fabrics with special finishes, rubber backing, washable only in cold water or labeled Dry Clean Only. Use Double the quantity of dye for dark or bright colors. For maximum coverage, use the washing machine technique. Use the stove-top technique for best color results when dyeing with Black dye or other dark colours. Great for tie-dye techniques, and can be brushed or rubbed onto wood projects for staining or stencilling. Rit Whitener boosts detergents' whitening and brightening abilities without the use of bleach. Use periodically to help keep whites white and colors bright. Rit Color Brightener brightens colors and safely removes or lightens stains from colors and whites. Rit Color Remover removes or reduces fabric color before dyeing. It will also safely remove dye stains on solid white items washed by mistake with colored items. Rit White-Wash whitens and removes many stains from non-bleachable white fabrics like lingerie and white sportswear. Use regularly to help prevent dinginess or yellowing.
