I got this kit to dye an overly large light grey sweatshirt I was gifted as a premium. It was comfy, but way too big and kind of boring, so I thought I'd zhuss it up with some indigo dye amd pair it with some leggings for a fun lounge outfit.I've not tie dyed anything since a failed attempt about 30 years ago, so I followed the directions to the letter.Because I had enough extra dye, I tossed 2 white shirts into the dye bath as well.The race shirt and hoodie are both 50/50 blends. Race shirt was BRIGHT white when I started and rhe hoodie, as I mentioned, was light grey. The bug shirt is all cotton.

So much fun trying out this method of dying fabric. But separate plastic gloves though because the ones it come with are useless. Youll also need more rubber bands and rope or string. Otherwise instructions are clear and the dye is very vivid

Worked well; easy to use. I used half the kit for 3 shirts (two adult, one toddler) and they turned out great--a little fading after washing, as expected, but I was really happy that they didn't seem to bleed in the laundry! Looking forward to some other fun uses for the remaining dye.
The instruction booklet was very helpful and straightforward and it was nice to have the various components necessary. The results were surprising and I loved the techniques
I've been looking for an idigo shibori dye kit for a long time.
Great price for this dying kit that comes with great directions showing you the many ways you can dye items. You can get 2 uses out of it with each 1 lb total of fabric being dyed. That's a lot! My 9 year old did this project on canvas totes and it just was so easy for us to do!
Made some custom fabric to incorporate into my quilting. Easy & funto use.
