Normally use RB10s, which I love. Looking for something different and these do the trick. Really, really responsive. Good or bad, you'll know with these things. Fit and form are excellent. I'm 6-2 200 average size hands, the 10oz fit great with rival wraps, a bit snug with thick wraps. Highly, highly recommended glove. I've only had them 8 weeks so I can't comment on durability.

I have owned 2 pairs of rivals. And in my honest opinion I think Rival sells its gear with a marketing first approach, quality second. Both pairs of Rivals, a mid range and high end range were basically destroyed from the inside out after 1 year. I kept using the Guerreros for another year but the gloves had completely lost their integrity. In the picture the gloves look like glossy high quality leather, but in person they are rather dull and almost cheap looking. The fit and feel of the glove is decent, the padding poor and sort of in consistent. The only redeeming quality I will say is the wrist strap, which is a pretty good alternative to laces.Realistically if you can't afford winning or grant (which are really the only high quality brands left in the world ... MoreI have owned 2 pairs of rivals. They wont fit as nice as winning or grant, but they will likely last as long and are made of strong leather and have a tough lining.Rival in my opinion is mid range gear but they somehow got the networks to use them. This is a truthful post and isnt me just being sour trying to sabotage a brand. I have a pair of winning and cletos. The winnings obviously by far are in a completely different league than rival. My Reyes don't fit great but they can take abuse for sure. Both my rivals fell apart and lost their integrity after 1 year. As did my premium pair of Everlast.

Quality control on the gloves need more work/attention to detail considering the price point of $160 CDN and that these gloves are promoted by some of the best boxers in the world. I was quite disappointed as one glove was quite mishapen but quoted from customer service as “every glove is handmade” and “ that no two gloves will be the same” to my surprise the glove that was mishapen was the better of the pair and that the other glove gave me first and second knuckle pain. I contacted customer service only to be told that I was wrapping my hands wrong and sent a video on how to wrap them. It didn’t help. So I bought gel pads for underneath the wraps. Now the gloves feel great on the bag and pads with little to no discomfort. I am still concerned about the quality of ... MoreQuality control on the gloves need more work/attention to detail considering the price point of $160 CDN and that these gloves are promoted by some of the best boxers in the world. I give this glove 3/5 stars as no glove is perfect and only take away one star for the quality of the gloves.

These bag gloves really are great, the innovative strap system gives you the same snug feeling as lace up gloves without the inconvenience of needing someone to tie them up for you. The HDE-F padding is perfect for bag work and gives the gloves longevity while still allowing you plenty of feel. If you want to save a few bucks get the lace up mystery colour Guerrero fight gloves as they are on sale currently and have the same construction as the bag gloves version minus the straps.

I use these for pads, heavy bag work, and heavy ground and pound work. The wrist support is ideal, for G and P on the bag where there is no give or movement when you hit the bag. I am glad I got them.
Very pleased with new bag gloves. Very nice material and all stitching is perfect. Used twice so far and all indications are it protects my hands as well as my RB11’s
Excellent bag gloves. I have arthritis in my hands and these gloves offer good protection whilst giving good feedback on where you're landing. They are not too bulky; I like that. The fit is perfectly snug and comfortable with excellent wrist support. My hands are 9 inches circumference at the knuckles btw. The breather holes in the palm actually work to cool your hands. When you open and close your grip, fresh air gets pumped in. I chose the 10oz. They weigh precisely 12oz. I imagine the extra is the generous wrist wrap material. The construction is flawless, nice quality leather, and the burgundy/gold colorway looks great!
I am a partner in one of the ten largest law firms in the world and a law professor and author, but boxing is my passion. The RB-10 bag gloves are exceptional by every metric. Their fit, cushion, and balance are as close to perfection as anything man made can be. Despite their high-tech configuration and sleek look, the gloves have old school quality craftsmanship. The stitching and craftsmanship are excellent and peerless. I now have gone 18 total rounds with them and they break in smoothly. Their quality shows in the execution.Congratulations. I promise that Rival shall prove to be a disruptive market force for the betterment of the boxing industry.Kindest regards,Pedro J. Martinez-Fraga
