I bought the bookstore and greenhouse at the same time. I haven't assembled the greenhouse yet but I love it and am looking forward to it.I have assembled the bookstore. I am so impressed with these kits! I have already purchased as 2nd bookstore for a friend. These kits are GREAT!!!

As mentioned in other reviews this is definitely an adult or upper teen leveled project. You make EVERYTHING. You need to cut and glue and bend included materials to make each thing you see. It is very detailed. I give it four stars because I had trouble getting everything to snap together in the end and the instructions were not helpful. The instructions are mostly pictures with very few words. I also found that although two glues are included krazy glue works wonders with the small pieces though it does get on your hands. Overall, the project was fun and very involved. It took about a week and half working for a few hours most evenings after work and weekends. If the instructions were better this would definitely be 5 stars!

I gave many of your DIY Miniature Kits away for Christmas to special young people in my life. I haven’t heard from them, as to what they thought about the assembly and finished product. It is a little too soon.

The light did not work, in spite of checking and following the instructions carefully. The wooden pieces although accurately cut and good to put together had a very poor aesthetically pleasing finish, but I did enjoy doing it. Waiting for the next one!
Definitely took a long time to finish. Requires finesse and patience when making the miniature items. Almost ran out of the clear glue. The small light inside is so cute and the wire runs outside the house so you can turn it on and off.
I recently bought the Signals Miniature Greenhouse Kit for my granddaughters, aged 12 and 10. They were very intrigued with it and we started assembling it right away. The kit is very intricate with many small parts, but the directions so far are clear. We made the door right away, and could see this kit will yield many hours of creative fun. It requires patience, perseverance and some manual dexterity, so I would recommend it for older children who would like a long term project. The girls' Dad is a gardener, so he also love working on this beautifully designed kit.

Still, I kind of liked it until I got to the folded plastic shell and my sliding scale went to minus 10. It was impossible to assemble without tape and glue and the order of building it made no sense. This ended up being a Covid 19 project so I had lots of time. Eventually, I used some of my own collectibles to complete it. I never did get the light to work but picture stripping electrical wire about as thick as your eyebrow!In fairness, I did have many good laughs at myself while spending HOURS on this inane project. My mom and I are avid miniature artists and always look for new kits to put together. I was worried this would be too novice for us but it definitely was not. It was challenging even for us and the quality of the finished product is something to be proud of. There were a few things we modified and/or embelished but overall this kit is amazingly detailed and inclusive. A great value for the price.
I loved this when I saw it in the catalogue, so cute, sort of a 3D puzzle I thought. I bought for an adult daughter who enjoys an occasional puzzle. I did not realize that you need to put every leaf on every plant, make the rugs out of string/yarn, put every page in the books etc.My daughter and her collage age daughter were trying to work on it and called me to ask if I thought that she had all the time in the world. She then explained how detailed it was. So I think she will at some point bring it back to me or will end up in a yard sale. Great idea but let folks know that they have to create that world and put it together,
This kit was missing parts, numbered parts often did not match with other parts to create furniture and greenhouse, had to create parts or purchase from elsewhere as the templates were missing or the expectation of making parts out of flimsy paper such as for the watering can were ridiculous, relied heavily on pictures as many numbers simply did not match up. It was as if the people who wrote the directions did not speak or writeEnglish as name references seemed made up. Materials provided were flimsy and of poor quality. Using beads as pots is a clever idea, but beads don't have bottoms so wire stems of flowers fell through and needed to be heavily glued to provide a base. Would never purchase this line of product again.
