RoC, Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Serum, 1 fl oz (30 ml)

I used this on one side whilst applying the ROC Retinol night cream on the other side of my face for a clear comparison between the two. I built up my skins' tolerance level which is something I suggest anyone new to retinol should do, by applying every 3rd day, then every 2nd and eventually nightly. I prefer the light texture of this to the night cream and that it doesn't sit on my skin but sinks in quite easily. Retinol does work! Even in the short amount of time that I used it my pores looked more refined and my skin tone overall fresher and smoother. I instantly noticed (the next day) ever-so-slightly tighter pores, just a nicer overall tone. But what I am most excited about is there are 3 little "sun spots" on my face- like possible skin cancer looking areas, tiny, but something I didn't know how to get rid of and had not had the opportunity to consult a dermatologists for what it is and treatment. So after that first treatment I could noticeably see a healing difference in these spots. 1 week in and I'm so happy- these spots are going away!!! I have faith this stuff works well and will continue to improve my skin because of these instant results already. I may or may not use a 2% retinol when it's time to buy another bottle (I googled this one to find it has .75-1%) My sister went out and got some of this and the eye serum after I told her about my experience! Smell: I haven't noticed a smell at all, but I do feel "smells" are common in facial products so maybe I am not sensitive to it. I believe this serum also has hyaluronic acid in it to help with moisture, but let this completely dry on your face and top off with a moisturizer of your choice just because this is how your facial routine should go, ya'll know this if you're out here googling Roc reviews :)

The debate is still out on this product. I know it can take about six months for a retinol to truly take effect. I can tell you my skin is much smoother. However, I don’t noticeably see any change to the dark spots and uneven skin tone. I’m going to continue using and update in the future. Would note that the serum is not very thin instead a thicker gel so when layering with other products that are retinol friendly, keep that in mind. Also, there is a strong sent to the product which I’m not a fan of but I personally don’t love big smells on my face.

1 Day RESULTS

Exactly what my skin needed! I put it on right before bed and when I woke up my skin was brighter, more even tone and looked more hydrated, I’m really blown away. I am 34 and have fair, oily skin and have only used 1 other retinol product before (olay purple jar) and I used 3 jars of that and never had my skin react as well as one use of this! I am incredibly blown away. Very happy customer. I used a single pump and dotted my face with the serum, then connected the dots and spread it all over my face for a light and even application and I moisturized after the serum was dry. I didn’t notice a bad smell as other reviews mentioned.

A little pricey, but good!

It's a little pricey, but I like it! It has a mattifying effect. I use it almost every night and havent had any negative experience. The scent is very mild - a little bit floral. You might want to avoid it if you're sensitive to fragrance. Some nights I experience stinging, but perhaps my skin has some tears. Not sure if I would repurchase. There are many retinol products out there.

Beware of no percentage of Retinol available

I have only been using this product for about three weeks. It is extremely drying! I thought I was ready for a heavier retinol before moving into prescription strength, but I guess I was wrong. Talk about flaking! RoC doesn't list anywhere and will not tell you exactly how much retinol is in their products so beware. I didn't discover that until after I purchased this. After the first week, I started using it once a week. I tried it twice this week but even 2x is too much. I will be going back to once a week except using on my hands. I definitely suggest a good hyaloronic acid and great moisturizer after using this product.

The result is noticeable from day 2.I have used a lot of everything, This was the first product I have bought with the eye cream and I would definitely recommend everyone to try this out. Don't waste money on other anti age products. Just be careful as your skin has to get use to it. It will burn a bit for few weeks but keep going, and after a month you will see a change in skin freshness and looking at least 3 years younger i highly recommend it with all my heart! Worth it

This stuff is amazing, dare I say a miracle worker for me. Wrinkles, they happen. I’ve been buying cheaper products for the past few years and not seeing much results. I am 42 but have deep set wrinkles on my chest do to a physical injury that caused me to sleep extremely heavy on my side. I just got a wrinkle on my forehead and decided I needed to spend the extra bucks to get something more efficient. After just two weeks of using this nightly, my baby forehead wrinkle is gone and not only that, I have skin cancer on my face and I’m in between topical chemotherapy treatments, the redness from my skin cancer has visibly reduced.
