I got a smaple of ROC retinol serum and used it one night. The next moring my skin felt like baby skin. I loved jow it felt. I have seen some visible improvement in my skin's overall appearance since I sarted using it. I find that it works better using at night time in my opinion. The small capsules are easy to break open. I have used it for about three weeks now so I am happy with the results so far. The hydration has been restored to my skin and has felt dramatically firmer. I will continue to use and will be buying more as this has worked really well with my sensitive skin. I would recommend this product to others looking for a more smoother, hydrated, firmer feel and appearance to your nightly or daily skincare routine.

Horrible Eczema - possible gluten reaction

Threw out after roc retinol capsules (white) resulted in severe eczema reaction. I still suffering with red, dry and itchy dime sized parches on my forehead and cheeks for a few weeks already. I pray my skin recovers. Ugh! I look like an extra in a zombie movie. This formula may be full of gluten as I’m sensitive to it. Yes, I’m sure it was this product that did it. I’m so Disappointed as it seems highly rated. It was a terrible experience and a complete waste of money.

Hydrates and reduces fine lines

Love these capsules, they work miracles. A pure hit of retinol serum, the very first time I used these I noticed a difference the next morning. I use a capsule a night and in the morning my skin looks so much smoother, my fine lines are visibly diminished and my skin feels amazing. These capsules have smoothed the skin around my eyes and my skin looks less tired and definitely more hydrated. They are easy to use, just twist the top of the little capsule and the serum is released and I just spread it over my face with my fingers. The capsules keep the serum fresh and there is no mess. I don’t care how much these capsules are I will always buy them because they really work. I highly recommend these roc capsules for smoother more youthful looking skin

I am a skin care junkie and have tried dozens of brands in the past but the results I have seen with the ROC brand has far surpassed any other brand I have tried. I have been using these capsules along with the retinol correxion max hydration cream and the retinol correxion line smoothing eye cream for over 6 months now and I have absolutely seen a dramatic improvement in my skin, especially my fine lines and wrinkles. Loved it. Gentle but efficacious!

This has been my first step into the world of retinol. Having sensitive skin I was worried, but I. needn't have worried! RoC always delivers high quality skincare products and this is no exception. I never experienced any of the side effects usually associated with retinol: no dry patches, no flakiness etc... On the contrary, it left my skin ultra silky and I saw the positive effects of retinol straightaway (which I certainly wasn't expecting). My skin improved dramatically and my fine lines were visibly reduced. I have now upgraded to a stronger product, but I suggest this one to whoever wants to start on retinol, like I did. And I always keep this product in mind (and in my wishlist) in case I need to go back to using it.

My breakout prone combination skin glows now.

This ia part of my nightly routine now. Have tried other pricier brands (drunken elephant etc) and nothing works as well as this. Have combination skin, prone to breakout and am of south east Asian descent. This, along with the Clinique 100HR moisture gel at night. I do skip this to apply an exfoliating serum occasionally. Definitely apply sunscreen (la Roche posay double repair) every day. Amazing. I scar very easily when I break out (without touching or picking) but this retinol capsule undoes the damage pretty quickly.

I'm approaching my 30's & knew I needed a retinol in my routine but I needed an intro into it and this formula has been kind & gentle to my skin. I can't speak on long term effects of course, but there are no irritating fragrances & at first I didn't like how it felt going on: it was kind of an oily-slick feeling but it does sink in, at least by the time I wake in the morning. I do get breakouts here & there so it was hard to tell if this has caused me blemishes but if ever I fear for that I use my moisturizer as a buffer & then apply this. So, I do my liquid exfoliant on Saturdays (it was a randomly picked day)...I'll stop applying retinol on Thursday & resume on Monday. This will protect your skin barrier but also remember that everyone's tolerance is different. This was just friendly advice from a professional.

Redness and burning sensation after I stopped using it

I bought this based on many good reviews. I used it only for 4 nights and I started breaking out pretty badly. It was the only new product I started using so I stopped using it. After two nights I started getting a bad burning sensation and experienced mild redness. I hadn’t eaten anything to cause an allergic reaction so the only thing I can think of causing all these issues is this product. I personally would not recommend it based on my experience but what doesn’t work for me doesn’t mean it wont work for someone else. I’m hoping my skin will get back to normal soon.

I purchased this product in hopes of it working for me as I recently turned 50 and wanted to start a new retinol. The reviews seemed promising so I bought it and started to use it per instructions on the bottle, which state to use it every night. The next morning, I noticed some dryness but nothing too crazy, I moisturized as usual and went on with my day. Fast forward more days and now I really started noticing a burning sensation in my neck and my neck was super red, itchy and flakey. I had to go to the doctor because I was afraid of it spreading and it was extremely red. My doctor told me to discontinue to use it and gave me some stuff to calm it down.
