I will definitely check out other ROCCAT products, but these just don't seem to have the longevity I want. For the first 6 months or so these were great. Every once in a while they felt a little tight, but I was happy with the solid construction and feel. Then the mic would start crackling when I would lower it into position for use. I found that if the mic didn't crackle when I lowered it that it would still be muted, so now when I swing the mic into position I make sure to shake it a little bit to get the crackle and it is usually good. Despite the earpad problems, you can (sort of) get used to it, and at the end of the day, this is a very nice headset. Also, it doesn't seem like anyone else had this problem (or maybe they just didn't bother complaining...), so go right ahead.
Great headset for only $50, hard to find good deals when you are on a tight budget. Glad I found this.

I already wrote a... two reviews for this but at the time I was being Mr. Critic Superior Pants. So disregard the previous ones. Newegg seriously needs to allow reviews to be deleted, at least. This is kinda silly.
I will no longer be a newegg customer. The last item i ordered from here I RMA'd, and they claimed there was end user damage. The end user damage was impossible though, considering the item didn't even have the parts that they claimed to be broken.
it's a quality headsets for gaming . it's enjoyable to playing with it or listen some music . i'm happy to buy it because the ratio price/quality was good too.
