They arrived and were very comfortable. My 1st time on the ice something felt very "off" and I was having a hard time with them. When I took them to the pro shop to have them check them, it turns out the blade on the right boot was bent. Very disappointing considering I lost the money I spent to have them sharpened.

I was tired of my stiff-boot ice skates and finally decided to find a comfortable pair of skates, and these absolutely fit the bill! They are padded in the entire boot and are very comfortable. I wear a women't size 11 shoe and these fit true to size for me. I'll admit I'm a little nervous about the laces being in strap-type material rather than through metal, but I'm hoping that won't be a problem. I l think they are a great value for the price -- and they also look great.
4th brand of skates I've tried on (decided to order because they looked handsome online and it said Italian style). Well, they ARE good looking but that's it. I have trouble believing any Italians had a hand in designing this uncomfortable, unyielding skate. The upper feels like molded plastic, is rigid and does not bend to wrap around the foot and ankle for needed support. The eyelets for the laces are made of flimsy fabric sewn between the upper and the outer fabric. (To tighten ice skates, you need metal-holed grommet eyelets for strength and durability). When I tried tightening the laces, the lace actually ripped on the oddly-placed side hooks! Since these do not tighten, there is zero ankle support. You'd break an ankle trying to skate in them. I've been unable to find a real leather shaft skate with any footbed or ankle support. Retailers, please carry half sizes in WIDE! Many people like me need wide to accomodate a slip-in arch (or warm foot bed liner) and wool socks!
I just tried these skates out yesterday, and I was very pleased with the fit and feel on the ice. The plaid print is very stylish, I had many compliments on them. I feel for the price, they are well worth it!
the skates are beautiful. My little girls loves them; however they are too small, what do I need to do?
I ordered these skates online mainly because I liked the looks of them and crossed my fingers that they would fit and be comfortable. They fit and they were very comfortable! However the lace up closer system left me skeptical. I was afraid to tighten them too much and have a loop pull out. I reluctantly returned them and will definitely be looking for another pair of Roces skates to purchase with a traditional lace up system because they have the padded comfort that I am looking for.
Nice skates! They fit well and were comfortable. The skates fit true to size.
I typically fit in a size 7 skate. Had to return the size 7's and purchase a size 8. My normal shoe size is a women's 7-7.5.
