The bag is well made and has side pockets to store street clothes so the clothing does not take on the smell of the hockey clothes & equipment. It is easy for my six year old great grandson to handle. It is big enough for him to use for his hockey gear as he grows. He loves that is different for the other kids bags.

Note: I infrequently fly, so all travel so far has been by auto. Large, roomy bag with a number of outside, zippered compartments. Like most, the heavier you make it, the more difficult it is to roll and control.
I used this bag for an international flight on AA and it stood up pretty good. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it caught a few holes at the side of the bag (it would be the bottom when the bag is in the upright position). The holes are relatively small, but still. They're small but yet big enough for a bug to get into.Overall, it's a strong bag because mine was stuffed out and the zips did not break nor did it tear.
This bag hold way more than we had expected. It can hold as much or more than a full sized suit case. We used it on a weeks trip for one person and I think we could have gotten all of our stuff into this one. This sides are soft, so there is no support on them, so having it full will help keep it's shape. Both the rollers and handle work very well. We have no complaints about the bag. It was well worth the money.
This duffle bag is wonderful. The company name Rockland really make every product sturdy durable and roomy. My husband have all 3 sizes. 40inches, 30inch and I believe the other is 16 or 20 inches. I recently purchase a suitcase set by Rockland, I tell you, I'm very impressed how it looks.

My son brought this to camp and the main zipper on the top broke right after he got there, and this was the first use. Unfortunately I bought this way in advance so I don't think I can return it.
kept falling over while rolling. canvas not strong enough, something in baggage compartment on plane caught corner and ripped a big a hole in it, go to stand it while mobil (like waiting in line) and it falling over. i love how big bag is though. just wanted a little bit more money
