Best coil shock I've ridden. The hydraulic bottom out is a great feature. Incredibly sensitive and obviously more reliable than an air shock!

Upgraded bike from bog standard delux on my Levo, once tuned this shock is worlds apart, buttery smooth on the ground and taking big hits jumping without bottoming out. Shock was easy to open with right tools and needed 3 volume spacers to match recommended progression. Shock comes with 1 spacer installed and 3 in the box plus 1 negative spacer. I found best price and availability was from Bike Inn. I like the fact import and vat to the UK is included so you don't get the import duties and extra charges from the courier

I jave tried the fox dpx2 factory, rockshox super delux ultimate and now the super delux ultimate coil and do not think I will be going back or any other shock for my bike with a 150 rear and 160mm travel in front. Tuning was a breeze firstly compared to bother airshows I previously owned. Only thing I changed was the airspring which is now a 650lb one to support a big lad like me to achieve 30% sag Great shock on trails and tricky jumps, cornering and decent providing the required support and traction.

Buy a thing, it gets to you and everything is on the up and up.The product itself, is an interesting set of compromises which are less easily tuned compared to any comparable air system. It is not clear to me that small bump sensitivity/shock performance are actually better over longer DH/Enduro runs.Multiple test runs on Windmill, a 9 min. (If you are very fast) descent at Wind rock, I could not tell you which performed more consistently but I can for sure tell you the air shock was more effective at changing ride feel and fine tuning.I'll leave you with this, the air shock and coil both did the jobs well enough. Ordered it because they told me the coil spring was included when it got delivered no coil so had to purchase 1 separately very disappointed with tredz been using them for years now starting to look elsewhere
Super easy install. Slid the coil on and it was bolt on and ride. Made the bike feel so much more alive. Will be making the switch on my ebike next!!
Transition Patrol model has an 8mm x 30mm bearing mount at the casting end. Not a bush as shown. It has a standard bush at the smaller end. I was able to change the bearings to 10mm to get it to mount backwards on my Commencal Clash. These shocks do not come with a spring! The lock-out feature is very useful for climbing. It gives a very plush ride. Very happy with it.
