I have purchased Rodd and Gunn coats before and was excited to see the Murchison coat this year. I was so excited to receive the package. The coat is a great heavy weight, and well constructed. The fit is true to size and feels lovely and cozy on. I can’t wait to wear it on cold winter nights. I definitely recommend this coat to be added to your wardrobe this season.

The Murchison Coat is made by Rodd & Gunn, and has 75% wool and 25% polyamide on the outer part. It helps to keep warmer when worn over a sweater, rather than just a sweater alone. It took some time to get the right size. It will probably need to have the sleeves shortened. If I went down a size, it would not be as comfortable.
Needs a coat but don’t like heavy stiff fabrics. This is soft and moves with me but warm and smart looking.
This coat may be the most expensive item in my wardrobe, but, having moved from Darwin recently, I new I needed more than just a 'puffer jacket'. I chose the Murchison, it is comfortable, and really keeps the cold out, while looking stylish. I am asked where I got it, as others are sick of their 'puffer jackets' that don't fit or work as well, nor do the look as good.
