Rode NT1 5th Generation Studio Condenser Microphone - Silver
The Rode NT1 5th Gen XLR and USB-C Studio Microphone is the latest edition of the critically-acclaimed condenser microphone, now with USB-C connectivity and a 32-bit float digital output for unparalleled audio fidelity. The original NT1 was first introduced in 1991, evolving through the years to be one of the best-selling studio microphones ever made. Combining analog and digital connectivity, the NT1 5th Gen Microphone provides the best of both worlds. At the core of the Rode NT1 is the HF6 gold-sputtered condenser capsule which provides ultra-low self-noise (4dBA) and a wide frequency range to capture every nuance of your sound source. The fifth generation NT1 is also the world's first 32-bit floating point recording microphone via USB-C which matches the dynamic range of the capsule with your device's A/D converters. This eliminates any clipping whether you're recording a quiet whisper or the loudest drum kit. Another groundbreaking new addition is the built-in DSP (digital signal processing) providing advanced APHEX audio processing with a range of effects including a compressor, high-pass filter, noise gate, and more. The Rode NT1 also comes complete with a range of accessories including a shock mount, a pop filter and both XLR and USB-C cables, providing everything you need to get started straight out of the box.

Surprisingly lighter than my previous mic but love the black version, and the sound is very good, the reviews have been encouraging. I will put it through a rigorous test soon. So far so good 👍

Very happy with the mic. I'm using this out of shot for recording video at my desk (about 20 to 30cm from my mouth) and it's still capturing great sound. The adjustments via RODE Connect work great.

I found this an amazing product for the price. The game changer for me was 30 bit digital output, which it appears isn't really ready with any support yet. So it's still a future. They provide a utility so you can run it at lower bit rates and lower resolution, I was hoping to bypass having to buy a preamp and maybe get a USB-C multi box, or buy the Rodecaster pro 2. That didn't support it yet either, so I bought a Focusrite 18l8 which can generate 24b at 192K from an XLR analog input. Though it was a little disappointing, it's understandable though I figured they would have at least 1 product to support recording it, if there was I didn't find it. I expect the Rodecaster pro2 will support it eventually and all their mics will have the 30 bit. The output.. the build ... MoreI found this an amazing product for the price. The Rode NT1 fifth generation is an exceptional microphone. With a low self-noise level of just 4.5 dB, this microphone is one of the quietest I've used in this price range. Grab one today if you're looking for crystal-clear recordings without any unwanted hiss or hum.
I've heard about the rode NT -1 for a long time. It's not my favorite style of microphone, but the quality of sound is phenomenal! The 32-bit float only works with USB, which was a little surprised to me, but for the most part I don't need but I am shocked just how good this microphone sounds!
I love the sound low self noice I recommended 100% am ready to keep recording voice over
This mic has such a clear sound and the 32 bit depth it is definitely worth the money.
