This style of collars are the best for dogs with a thick coat or dogs whose head is narrower than their neck. They can slip their heads out of a regular collar no matter how tight. But these collars adjust to tighten when necessary. Walking your dog but knowing they won't slip their head out. At the same time they won't pull too tight because they have a limited adjustment. They are my favourite.

Comfortable and Works

This works really well for those odd moments when my Daschund spots a potential best friend at the park and decides to reverse somersault out of his harness (his head is smaller than his shoulders). It only comes into play when needed, otherwise just hangs comfortably around his neck.

Does the trick

I was having difficulty walking my dog and gave this a go. It was an effective tool only after I received training to walk the dog. Obedience school isn't just for doggies.

Fantastic SAFE walking Collar

Highly Recommended SAFE walking Collar, especially good for walking nervous dogs or dogs that may get a fright easily and slip out if a normal flat type collar.I use these collars in my Grooming Salon for toileting clients dogs, they are super adjustable, easy to slip over head and super SAFE , dog can't slip out if this collar if fitted and used correctly . Great walking Collar, but I wouldn't recommend it as a leave on collar.Fantastic colour range!

Great collar - well made and good control on walks

We have a large dog (41kg) and he is fussy with what he will walk on this type of colour with the small section of chain is the best for him. He likes it more than a harness (her has a triple coat so I think harnesses make him hot) and he is easy to control on walks and remind him to step back a bit and not walk in front.The collar itself is very well made.Did seem small when I saw it come out if the box (we got the largest) but it went over his head fine and has actually fitted him very well.Highly recommend

Keeps my dog under control

Very stylish collar. I would really like one in every colour. My dog is large, 35 kg, and I'm confident when I take her for a walk. I can keep her in check because she is still a puppy she gets very excited about everything. She hates harnesses so I was very happy to find something that she is content to wear.

Makes leash training a breeze/great for greys!

My 26kg dog is a bull arab x greyhound x kelpie and she inherited the greyhound narrow head, meaning she can slip out of a regular collar. This martingale collar stops her pulling almost completely, and is safe for her as she can't back out of it and run away. Puts exactly the right amount of pressure on her to give her instant feedback that she's pulling me too hard. Walking her now is honestly a breeze.My only gripe is that the collar is quite thin - I don't think it will break or anything, it's just a thin collar to put on a large dog/dog with a long neck.

I have two German Shepherds, now both have this type of collar. They are prey driven and this collar helps me control them better, knowing that because of the band width there is little chance of damage to their throat or voice box.
