Roland s TM-2 is a lightweight and compact battery powered drum trigger module which offers an easy solution for acoustic drummers seeking to give their kit a boost with electronic percussion. There re two trigger inputs to support a broad variety of Roland s pads and drum triggers, whilst the out-of-the-box sounds have been optimised for augmenting acoustic drums. There s studio-grade multi-fx too for processing the kits, and triggering your custom WAV sounds, loops and backing tracks can be done through an SDHC card. Simply copy your WAV files from your computer onto an SDHC card, then insert it into the trigger module s slot. MIDI I/O is on hand too to trigger sounds in V-Drums modules, keyboards and synth modules, and once connected to your computer via a MIDI interface, MIDI data is able to be recorded and sounds played within most common music softwares. It s even possible to play both internal sounds and custom WAV sounds stored on an SDHC card from an external MIDI device!
