We have 2 dwarf hamsters in this cage and it's perfect for them. Plenty of room to explore & space downstairs for toys, coconut & play tunnel plus large area for bedding. The upstairs nest box is quite deep & one sleeps in there on super soft bedding (also from Wilko). The wheel was a bit squeaky but a bit of margerine has solved the problem. Very easy to clean, drop in water bottle quick to change daily & the food bowl is set on a ridge to stop it moving. Overall an excellent purchase & cheaper than anywhere else. thank you Wilko!

I spent a long time looking at hamster cages and this looked the best because it was spacious, had lots of floor space and also some higher areas for the hamster to explore. The only problem is that you have to be careful opening the lid if he is in the bedroom section as he could escape through the top. The wheel is too big for a dwarf hamster but we easily removed it and put in a 4.5 inch silent spinner instead. It is easy to clean.

Easy assembly/disassembly. Easy to clean because corners are rounded with no hard to reach books and crannies. Secure. Put a little vaseline on the wheel spindle and it's quiet. Nice deep base for stuff to dig in an no overspill. Bowl and bottle incorporated with little space used. My mouse seems very happy with it.Also £10 cheaper than elsewhere.

This is a sturdy well made product and I think really good value for money. I did have a few issue with it, I don’t think it is the most easy to clean cage as cleaning the base would be fine but to clean the levels would be a bit more awkward as they don’t wasily attach from the cover. Also my hamsters love jumping off things so I got a bit scared when they started jumping off the top level, I added extra bedding but I took them out after a few days so don’t really know if that could be a major problem or not. Also I think the sleeping area is quite exposed and small so during the day my hamsters would bury themselves in the bedding on the base instead of sleeping there. And indeed it does! Particularly at the price Wilko is selling it at!! It’s very secure for even the teeniest resident and has plenty of room for our two to play together - or apart. It’s also pretty easy to clean - though the different levels make it a touch trickier than anticipated, hence a star deduction on ease of use. Smashing home for our two dwarf hamsters. Bought this as a replacement for the caged home as hamsters burrow and wood shavings where everywhere!Plenty of space for them & easy to clean out.The only negative is the wheel......very, very noisy!!! I have taken it out & popped in a flying saucer & free standing wheel - so one each!!!
These cages are ideal for small animals which are shy of handling. They are easily viewed and this is a safe, warm and easy-to-clean environment. Also escape-proof Recommended, a bit pricy but it is reliable and well made. My only change was to the wheel which squeaked in use I replaced it with a free-standing wheel. The manufacturers might have improved the wheel design since, I hope so, my only quibble.
I would highly recommend this cage as it is £10.00 cheaper compared to other stores. I ordered it online - it came into the store within a couple of days. The cage has all the essential features to house Russian hamsters or mice comfortably. I cannot find any negatives.
This is a wonderful cage for the money, and this is definitely the cheapest retailer of it. Only issues are the wheel squeaks, so I sawed it off and replaced with a silent one. (same with all cages) and the clips were a bit stiff to start with so it was hard t open and shut. Overall Our hamster is a very happy hammy!!!! She's Chinese so it tiny and this is a good size for her.
bought this for my little robo hamster, hes only tiny so this cage is great for him to run about and explore. he loves the little house at the top too. having 3 levels is also a good feature for the cage. Also found there is also room to add extras and the bottom..ive added a small bedding pouch and woodland playsticks. The only downside is the bottle holder is a little small..i bought a small replacement bottle but it was still to big to fit into the holder.Also it can be difficult to try pick up my little one (when hes a little nervous) with all the levels in the way, without having to take the whole roof off , and him jumping out the base part. Other than that i am very happy great price considering ive seen it dearer elsewhere!
