Our ex rescue Jack Russell is of an indeterminate age probably 14/15, but recently was diagnosed with kidney disease. He had been poorly, for a while, no energy, lost control of his bladder and bowels, staggered around, we were seriously considering putting him to sleep as it was no life for him.Our Vets checked him out and suggested we change his diet to a renal speciality. Did research and tried Royal Canin, not just because of the feedback but of its constitution and origins.Result! He has plenty of energy, he walks normally so we can have short walks again, he loves the food, he has control over his bladder and bowels, and is almost normal for an aged dog.
