Royal Canin Kitten Dry Food - 10kg
ROYAL CANIN Kitten is specially formulated to support the nutritional needs of kittens in the "consolidation phase" of their growth. This formula is suitable for 4 to 12-month-old kittens as they undergo a period of significant physical and behavioural changes. This tailored diet contains adapted levels of protein, minerals, and vitamins to help satisfy your kitten's rising energy levels and support growing bones and muscles. It also contains nutrients such as Vitamin C and E to support the development of the kitten's healthy immune system. These dietary antioxidants have been shown to stimulate a higher and faster rise in antibodies after vaccination. ROYAL CANIN Kitten is also enriched with Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) to support brain development and promote healthy vision. Thanks to a combination of beneficial prebiotics (MOS) and highly digestible proteins, ROYAL CANIN Kitten also helps to support a healthy balance of intestinal microbiota (gut flora) for good digestion. The kibble in ROYAL CANIN Kitten has also been specially designed for your kitten's tiny mouth. A mechanical brushing effect as your kitten chews helps to support dental health. By the time your kitten reaches 12 months old, they will need a diet that's specially adapted to meet their nutritional needs as a grown cat. At this stage, you can transition them onto the ROYAL CANIN range of diets for adult cats, available as dry kibble or wet food in loaf, gravy or jelly.

I used RC's kitten formula 8 years ago. Both of my cat's coats had never been nicer. RC as a whole helped with hairball control, shiny/ healthy coats, and overall health. It is a little more pricey than other brands, but you get what you pay for. I truly believe this is a quality food for kittens. I would recommend this brand as a whole.

My kitties love this food. They do prefer wet food often, but I always leave this out for them to graze. Their little fat bellies tell me they like it. The ingredients are full of nutrition for my growing kitties. It’s a bit pricey for sure, but a great investment for your kittens long term health.

I got a kitten recently and he would not eat the dry kitten food that he was given at the shelter. I bought the small 3lb bag to try first anf he ate it. This was after trying a few other well known brands that he didn't eat. I was happy he liked this. I decided to get the 15lb bag as my senior cat was also eating it! Well as i was putting it in a smaller container i noticed that it was not even the same color. It appeared much darker and neither would touch it. I tried to find if formula was changed but didn't find anthing. Fortunately i was able yo return this large bag that neither will eat. Back on the hunt to find something for this picky kitty.

I got a kitten over the summer, for two weeks she was having such bad diarrhea and I kept her on the same food she ate the shelter so I didn’t hurt her stomach. We had two costly vet trips and the medicine wasn’t helping. After some research I tried this food, and her stomach issues were gone in three days. Would highly recommend!
My cat thought the wet food was delicious! The portion given to her is the perfect size and amount! All other wet food is a lot more with larger portions. My cat is usually a very picky eater. Knowing this wet food was coming and that’s what she’s having for lunch snd: or dinner she jumps up and is ready to eat! With other wet food she paws at it then looks at me and meows until I throw away the wet food and give her dry food or this’ll me of wet food.
We rehomed our little guy at 6 months old and he was having trouble with digestion as the previous owners gave him adult dried food not a good brand. Once we put him on this Canin kitten dried food he stopped being sick; and his pooh improved. His coat and general health has really improved as well.
I researched and studied a lot thru vet magazine and I learned first ingredient must be a meat but this does not have a chicken as a first ingredient.I heard wellness brand is number one good company with high quality ingredients so I wanted to feed my kitten best one even if it is expensive however my cat seems more enjoy this brand.I have had him since he is 3 months old and fed this one along with royal canin canned food.Because he seems not enjoying a good wellness brand for his taste, I think I have to buy this one again. My ex told me always feed what he loves to eat.Maybe he is right at some point.I am just hoping royal canin makes more better ingredient dry food with grain free version.
We started our kitten out on a grain free cat food at first. He was underweight and malnourished and it seemed like a good idea at the time since it was extremely high in calories. Unfortunately he hated it. No shade at their product — he’s very selective with his food, both wet and dry. He remained quite scraggly until I researched deeper on the gimmick of grain free diets and the digestibility of corn in cat food and we decided to try him on Royal Canin’s kitten food... It was an instant hit! You could smell the flavour wafting out of the bag from the second you opened it. He finally grew, his coat flourished, his poops finally became solid and less smelly, and he has been at an ideal body score ever since even after his neuter.Due to Royal Canin’s cost we have ... MoreWe started our kitten out on a grain free cat food at first. I love that I can trust that there has been research and science behind their products and I love that he is willing to eat it. Only con is that it may be out of some people’s price range.
We adopted our kittens at about 10 wks old. The foster had been feeding them Royal Canin Kitten Dry Food and I always thought RC was a good brand so I continued to feed it to them. They had diarrhea from the day we brought them home. They were tested and tested and tested for infections. We spent SO MUCH money at the vet. The vet recommended we switch them to the Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein HP Dry Cat Food and the diarrhea never improved. Finally after 3 months of severe diarrhea (kittens couldn't even hold it in, they were leaking uncontrollably) the rescue org's vet (who had nothing to gain from us) suggested switching them to a different brand. We got them completely away from RC food and started to see immediate improvements. After a few weeks their stool was totally normal. I have no idea what's in those two varieties of Royal Canin kitten/cat food but they were both horrible for our kittens.
This is an excellent kibble for kittens. Just a couple of months back i switched to another respected brand that was recommended to me. It made my cats poo smelly, runny and he became more vocal than usual.Switched back to this and its restored his calm, his poos are always firm and not smelly anymore. Could just be because he wasn't used to the new food but he loves the taste and im happy about the non runny poos
