My 10 week old cavoodle is doing so well on royal canin good stools,happy puppy and really likes the dry food .i also use the puppy wet food ,meaning in the morning she has 1/2 her dry food for the day and I add a good teaspoon of the royal canin wet puppy food. The only thing I’m concerned about is the maize, and maize flour and maize gluten in this food when corn is supposed to be a no no for dogs. Seeing she is doing so well on this food so far I’m keeping her on it.so would I recommend this food .YES! But why so much corn as a filler? Happy Days Annette.

6 month old pups love this

My 6 month old cavoodle pups love the royal canin. They've eaten it from 9 weeks old and still search for it every feed. They have no issues with toileting with this product either and its easy to pick their poos up.

My Westie has been eating this since the breeder started her on it. She's 8 months old now and very healthy. Pet Circle is usually $30+ cheaper than anywhere else for the 8kg bag. Will be changing her over to the Royal Canin Westie Food in a few months time. Hope she's as happy on that as she is on the Puppy Food.

Happy with it

My two puppies eat it with no problem at all, I am happy they are getting the right vitamins and minerals from this brand of dry food, the breeder recommended it to me and she feeds her dogs this brand of food. I am happy to see them have it with no problem unlike the wet food same brand, they are still not liking it much.

I wouldnt use anything different

I have been buying Royal Canin in store for the last 2 years. Before that i had Star on tin food, she was always hungry and looking for snacks. She became ill at a Christmas time and on Christmas Eve she needed to go to the vets, i thought i was loosing her. She was unable to keep any food down. It took 2 weeks for her to get better with medication. Then i switched her diet to Royal Canin. I would never use anything different now. She loves it. Her coat always looks healthy and glossy and she is healthy. My son and daughter in law have a pug and they also use Royal Canin.

My Cavoodle hates it

My Cavoodle hates this food. He was initially on Leaps & Bounds which he loved eating. We switched to Royal Canin because it is meant to be better for him but he does not like the taste at all. Prior to feeding him Royal Canin he would always eat at meal times but now it is an uphill battle.

Only the best for Mouse (the Cockapoo!)

Our puppy came from the breeder on Royal Canin and as a Pets at Home colleague I was already aware of the benefits of feeding premium foods. Our cockapoo loved this food, it suits her digestion, she has a fantastic shiny coat, good skin and enjoys every mouthful. Although price per bag it does appear more expensive but one 8kg bag lasts almost 2 months. I ensure food is always available, she eats what she needs, never overeats and is perfect weight on every vet visit. One real benefit of a good quality food is smaller, less offensive poop and this does appear to be the case! I would highly recommend and will be sticking to this food throughout her life stages.

Puppy loves it but not resealable

My malshi puppy loves the Royal Canin, easy to chew. We started with the 2kg bag and then bought the 8kg for better value but the 8kg bag was not resealable so the kibble went bad after 2 weeks. Had to throw to more than half of it away. Going to stick to the smaller bags that comes with a resealable option from now on.

Rosie loves this food

Rosie my 9 month old JRT x Maletese girl loves this food. I put it in her food puzzles and snuffle mat as well as in her dinner bowl and she loves searching for it. Excellent size for young, small pups.

as a breeder of miniature shih Tzu I find royal canin the finest dry food on the market. I use the mini puppy junior for puppies and pregnant mummies and our beautiful stud boy. we use royal canin shih Tzu for the others. the poo,s are lovely to pick up and they maintain weight perfectly on it. puppies love it soaked to start then gradually introduce hard in a separate bowl until properly weaned. thier coats are stunning and energy levels optimum. I highly recommend it.. weizinying miniature shih Tzu.
