This food is amazing I used it with the canned food also and my mama cat looked and felt amazing. She was very run down from her pregnancy. I was desperate to find a food that both met the nutritional needs she wasn't getting from the other brand of food we were using and to find something that wouldn't hurt her sensitive stomach. After one week on this food she was healthier then even before she got pregnant. Her fur was glowing her eyes looked alert and she was full of energy. Awesome food and I would defiantly give it 100 stars if I could.

I volunteer and foster kittens from newborn age to around 10 to 12 weeks old when they can be spayed or neutered and put up for adoption. I have also fostered nursing mama cats with their babies. Royal Canin Mother and Baby Cat kibble is the only kibble I use. I have fostered at least a few hundred kittens and only had 1 that wouldn't eat it. Although it is more costly than a lot of other cat foods, I trust Royal Canin to give me the healthiest kittens.

Great dry food for kittens with the nutrition needed to support both kittens and mother cat! So irresistible, I have to chase the father away or he'll eat it all too! I feed the Thin Slices in Gravy wet food in addition to this product until about 3 months, when fully weened off their mother's milk. Then I switch to the Kitten formula dry food. 4 Paws Up!

kitten loves these biscuits & comes running when I open the bag. Small kibble size is great for my tiny kitten. I purchased these after a recommendation from vet Maree & I'm very happy. Amazing customer service when the original bag arrived damaged and a replacement arrived the next day
I bought this for my young kitten as I wanted him on something better than Whiskas kibble. My kitten loved this straight away, he didn't need any enticing at all. I love that the kibble pieces in Babycat are so small for his little teeth, he seems to find them easier to consume. I'm happy with my purchase, my kitten loves the Babycat kibble and his poops have been healthy since transitioning to it as well.
My kittens and even largest cats prefer this kibble to any others I've tried so far, and I've tried so many. They prefer the small size and textured shape of the kibble because it's easy to eat. It smells pleasant and doesn't cause overly malodorous droppings. I've tried many other kitten kibbles, which are all too big and hard despite supposedly being designed for kittens. By comparison, Royal Canin mother and babycat is the only kibble I've found so far that is small enough to be suitable for kittens. It's also excellent for cats in convalescence recovering from illness or injury when reintroducing dry solids because of the small and easy to eat kibble size. For what it's for (young kittens) this food is amazing. It is smaller than any other kitten kibble and kittens can start eating it much sooner. I had a litter of kittens their Mom had on my back patio. She wasn't very good about feeding them and as soon as I could, I started them on the Royal Canin Babycat. Before that I mixed meat babyhood (Gerbers or Beechnut turkey, chicken, or beef) with some KMR powder, before I started them on RC Babycat at around 4 weeks. They are fourteen years old now. There is no other food like it for young kittens.
A young girl rescued me in July. Very bad storms made me take her in. 2 days later MamaMeow gave birth to 5 gorgeous babies. Never having to care for babies and the birthing process I was scared but succeeded. They were eating on their own by 5 weeks. Not one problem! They hear the rattle of the bag and they are at my feet waiting to eat. I love the fact there is 1 food for both Mama and her kids. They eat & drink together from one bowl. She was a feral cat till now. It was God's plan for us to meet. I must find furever homes for them because I have 7 pets already. All rescues. With each one adopted I will be giving the new parents a large bag of RCFHNM&B dry cat food. It is important that they stay and grow with RC. Thank you for letting me share their story. ... MoreA young girl rescued me in July. Very bad storms made me take her in. 2 days later MamaMeow gave birth to 5 gorgeous babies. There seems to be a lot of controversy about pet food ingredients lately, and whether or not they are species appropriate. Feeding organic, holistic, whole, grain-free/low carb brands to my cats and kittens made me feel great about my pet food choice, but my pets' systems just didn't tolerate the foods. They had several digestive issues and outwardly, they looked terrible. Sometimes, for reasons not understood, things just work. Royal Canin is just one of those things. Many of my cats have lived to be ancient elders on this food, and I will never change brands again. There really was not a single reason for me to change in the first place, except for being led astray by very clever marketing. Also, Royal Canin has several therapeutic foods. There really was not a single reason for me to change in the first place, except for being led astray by very clever marketing. Also, Royal Canin has several therapeutic foods. These foods do what they are intended to do, and it has been proven time and time again in clinical trials. I will continue to feed all of my Sphynx, Bambino, Elf and rescue cats this food as long as it is available. Our cats are our family members and we want them with us as long as possible!
This is the “missing link” for weanlings: tiny kibble pieces, soft and small enough for those first baby teeth (and dense in nutrition to support and replenish mom-cat).For years this has been my go-to food for “mush-eaters”, to help transition them from milk to solid food. I like it especially for orphans, because I can leave it down when necessary for ad lib feeding, where soft food can get cold and crusty, and spoil. I have never had a kitten reject this food, whereas “kitten formula” hard foods are sometimes too big for tiny beginners. As a foster mom for my local city shelter, I make sure I have this on hand before Kitten Season even starts. Highly recommend.
